I'm useless without pics as well. I did have a look on the Tesco website but no sign of Belgian chocs, only Swiss ones.

The ones JumbleJack has are free after DTD but did I read there were other ones where I'd be getting paid to scoff choccies?

    oh noooooo
    now i'm totally confused:mad:

    well done!!
can you do us a photo though when you get a mo? I'm useless without pictures, pretty pls
(thats if theres any left or have you really scoffed them all??)

how did you get away with explaining so many chocoates and that you didn't notice the price error as you went thrm ough the till

and how were there sooooo many on the shelf??:eek::eek:

Cheers. I've just taken a pic of my stack of them in the pantry and also my till receipt n refund but am just to whacked to out em I'm photo bucket and upload em. It's so easy to send pics via email etc off the iPhone but it's so longwinded to upload here. Will get round to it tomorrow when I've gone some more garden jobs.

Oh, I told the cs the truth, that we are having a huge party next month and we like to give guests presents upon departure. (they will probably end up with roses though as I did not specify what that present was going to be, hehe!). They are the nicest chocs I've eaten so I will.... Have... To... RESIST!

BOOM!!! I got my first everr bargain of this kind today! Got them chilli nuts at 22p a packet from a tesco in liverpool city centre. It wouldnt scan properly at self scan checker so took it to a self serve till and presto it came in at 22p...my face lit up!!! So went back to get some more packets.
Got to be my best visit to tesco in a while, I used to go to the branch a lot as I lived nearby there when I wa at uni; I just went there for the day today and decided to pop into tesco.

Also, I managed to use 2 x £1 off coupons for 2 bottles of the fairy liquid which was already on offer 2 for £2.50. Got £2 off making it 50p for 2 bottles. Savings all round today!

depending on what else you bought you'll get your 50p back with the tesco price check. Fairy only £1 in asda. :D

Unless I'm mistaken no RTD on the fairy. The vouchers are for the 650ml bottles, 2 for £2.50 at T's, £1.43 each at A's. Can't complain at 25p each for these large bottles. Thats why I got them with my Roses then went back for the things I could pay for with vouchers and get RTD on. :j

    Sorry my mistake :o

I got them a few weeks ago and did get the RTD, I think they were on offer in asda at the time, so just looked quickly on Asda and saw £1 but didn't check the size. Sorry.

No apology needed munchkinz, I flick back and forth checking and re-checking what to put through on RTD and what to buy seperatly before I go. Then when in store i'm constantly flicking through notebooks, bit's of paper and envelopes with vouchers in, maybe i'd invest my savings into a phone that does app's if I thought i'd have any chance of getting my head round them. :rotfl::o:rotfl: Not a hope though!!!!

grrr  found out today, that as well as my store not being included in the price checking scheme, a mum at the school works there on ss tills and she said that one of the other sa looks at this forum every morning and reports to the manager so all discrepancies would have disappeared by 9am!! thats why i can't find anything!

do not hope to find anything in wolverton, milton keynes - not a hope in hell!

I don't see how one store cannot be included in the price checking scheme, I thought it was a countrywide Tesco scheme and not down to individual stores to select to 'opt out'. Nothing on the adverts they were promoting about it being confined to selected stores. I think that would warrant an email to HO to ask for an explanation.

With regard to the very saddo 'Tesco stick of rock' on this forum who reports to the manager, if you read this then go and get a life, because if you think you are indispensible or will be treated better or more highly thought of by sucking up to a manager (who will be an indoctrinated 'Tesco stick of rock' through and through, on the Tesco staircase to a bigger and better flagship store), you are very misguided - creeps do not fair any better on the Tesco staircase (only the managers), and I'll bet that you are on the same rate of pay and terms and conditions than the non-creeps .... wise-up!
