whilst out searching out 1p bargains, I came across these:

    1.jpg

There was actually a big gap and no SEL where they should be, which is a good indicator that theres something to be had.
Next to the gap was the 400g version at £9!
so based on the tip on here I looked up and spotted 3 complete sealed boxes of 12x 200g ones on the stock shelf above, I got one box down, opened it and took one to price scanner and it scanned at 49p, so I returned and picked up all the others.

    Barcode: 5010204319537

36 boxes for £17.64. Thats a few presents for school and Christmas sorted!

I only saw these stocked in a very large extra ( either sizes )

    HTHs

( and I dont even like Chocolate! but my wife does!)

Apologies, not sure how to make that a bit smaller!

This is my original post on the Belgian chocs I got for 49p which others have had scan at £1.25 and also £5 so you have the chance of getting them cheap or DtD if the SEL still shows £1.25 and they scan at £5.

    Well done
Which store and did you leave any hehe ?

It was the Middleton store but at Customer Services the lady went over to check SEL and brought it back with her, so not point in naming store when I posted as didn't want people driving down and not getting the offer.

The Cheetham Hill branch has a stack of boxes of these chocs, but with a £5 SEL .. will check later to see if they have the reduced SEL and DTD and post back asap on my phone.

(Whitefield and Failsworth had none left, someone got there first, lol)

if there's anymore good offers please whisper then i don;t start rading kids money boxes etc.:(:(:(:(:(;);)

I don't see how one store cannot be included in the price checking scheme, I thought it was a countrywide Tesco scheme and not down to individual stores to select to 'opt out'. Nothing on the adverts they were promoting about it being confined to selected stores. I think that would warrant an email to HO to ask for an explanation.

When I inputted the receipt number it came up with an error message saying "sorry, your store is not participating in the price check scheme, only express, extra and superstores???"
bargain hunting is what i do! :money: 2 adults 3 kids - its like trying to feed a zoo! :D
