It maybe be useful (maybe not in this case but other cases) that the online section of a retailer may not be directly connected to the shop retailer.
Its common for them to be registered under a slightly different name and would probably allow them the loophole of giving you something in store at the same price as online.
Thomas Cook for example, has at least half a dozen different "businesses" all operating under the TC umbrella. And it isnt uncommon for one of them to price match another section of the same company. Some even operate at a loss (such as Thomas Cook TV).You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

At LAST!!! Common sense has prevailed!!!Persistance DOES PAY!!!
Today I will be picking up my new 42" T.V from a local Currys store for the price I paid, which was £399!!! And I am elated!!! Take on the big boys and sometimes, just sometimes, the small guy can win!! When I pick it up I'm going to ask if they can throw in a Wall bracket for the inconvenience!! Maybe a little cheek will work too!! So don't give up you guys who may just still be WAITING for your T.V to arrive, get on the blower and rustle some feathers!! Thank you all for your valuable advice.
One happy chick!! :T:T:T0 -
