ryanair online check in?

Sure, but where does it say that Michael might decide not to fly if there's a strike happening somewhere under his flightpath - you won't find the extra cost of sorting that out in your table of feeswhatmichaelsays wrote: »Seem easy enough to find: http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/table-of-fees

Don't worry too much about Ryanair. Their fees and charges and T&C's are very clearly laid out on their website. What you must do is READ THEM.
I was very nervous the first time I used them, but I just took my time making the booking, read everything and it was fine. No nasty surprises and nothing I hadn't read on their website.
Just make sure you have luggage scales to ensure you hand and hold baggage is within the limits both going and coming back.0 -
The 10kg and size limit of hand baggage is now frequently checked. On my recent trip from Prestwick to Stansted and back it was weighed at Prestwick and both weighted and measured at Stansted. I was definitely cutting it fine at 10.1kg (I was let off the extra 100g!) but when I couldn't force it into the measuring device I was worried. However, a quick rearrangement of the contents did the trick and I got away with it. The Ryanair employee was actually quite nice about it.
The dimensions of the hand baggage is what could catch you out. 55cm x 40cm is fairly standard but it is the 20cm width that many bags exceed, especially if they are packed with bulky items.0 -

Inactive, you are either a Ryanair stooge, a regular Ryanair customer who simply knows 'Everything' clearly through hard experience, or someone who strangely enjoys wading through heaps of ad hoc Ts & Cs and advocates it as a worthwhile life habit
... you are certainly wrong to lay a view like that on a Ryanair newbie.
.
So what is so difficult for you / anyone?
You cannot even book flights without confirming that you have read the T&C's, so no excuses.0 -
Hi! I'm also wondering about hidden costs with Ryanair -
i see that there is a £15 charge for a passenger's first bag (up to 15kg) fair enough, but how about when you come to actually check this luggage in? is there any extra charge for this? i see that "In 2009 Ryanair abolished airport check-in and replaced it with a fast bag drop for those passengers checking in bags" - (wikipedia ryanair page), but also that , this will cost £80 per person! - is this correct? (according to - travelblog dailymail co uk/2010/06/so-now-it-can-cost-more-to-check-a-bag-onto-a-ryanair-flight-than-it-does-to-buy-a-seat-how-can-this html) (sorry about slightly mangled links - it won't let me post them properly!!)
also, the flight that i'm after says "No Taxes" on the ryanair website search - does this mean that there will be no taxes for me to pay, or just that they aren't shown in with the price, and will be added on later somehow?0 -

were planning to go for 3 days , can the return be printed here before we leave ?
At £40 each it would be cheaper to buy a printer and yes you can print the return before you travel.

You must still check in on line and then proceed to the "bag drop" point (which is one of the check-in desks). This is free of charge (assuming you have paid for hold baggage). The £80 charge could well be typical Daily Mail misreporting but that sounds like the £40 boarding card re-issue fee if you didn't check in online (which would be £80 if you didn't check in online for both your outbound and return flights).
When Ryanair say they have abolished check-in desks, they really mean that they have abolished the traditional 'boarding cards'.
On many of Ryanair's promotional fares, the taxes are "waived" (in truth, they are passed on to another passenger in the form of a larger fare). If you get one of these "No Taxes" fares, there are no additional taxes or airport charges for you to pay (although Ryanair's other ancillary charges are likely to apply).also, the flight that i'm after says "No Taxes" on the ryanair website search - does this mean that there will be no taxes for me to pay, or just that they aren't shown in with the price, and will be added on later somehow?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. great! cheers for the help! by "other ancillary charges" do you just mean the online check in fee, credit card charge, etc (from ryanair com/en/questions/table-of-fees)?0

Yep. Also, priority boarding if you opt for that.
They are avoidable though if you book the right fare and pay the right way

Just another cheapie with Ryanair.
I booked one way to Glasgow Prestwick and a bit appeared which said 'get £15 cashback' on your next flight with Ryannair if you register with a shopping discount and reward site. So, since I was coming home, I booked and registered with the site, sending them the email confirmation of booking. The shopping discount site sent me fifteen pounds cheque, even though the actual flight only cost £4.99.
Then I cancelled the discount site membership before the month was up, and didn't have to pay any fee to the shopping website. They even sent a nice email to say, no problem.0
