If you don't have a print out of your boarding pass you can get one at check in, but it will cost you £40 or €40 per person each way. It clearly states this on their website and T&C's.

Is there not a printer at your local library you could use or get a friend to print it for you?

YES, And do look at the link to the "Sing the praises of cheap flights' direct from the RYANAIR website. It's been linked by various MSE's before (thank you) but if you have not seen it take a look (It's not true but it is very funny).

That's the greatest joke I've seen this week :p

Inactive, you are either a Ryanair stooge, a regular Ryanair customer who simply knows 'Everything' clearly through hard experience, or someone who strangely enjoys wading through heaps of ad hoc Ts & Cs and advocates it as a worthwhile life habit :D ... you are certainly wrong to lay a view like that on a Ryanair newbie.

Steve, you can still check in and download your Ryanair boarding pass as a PDF. You can't offer the electronic PDF itself yet at security or the gate even if it's displayed on your new iPad, but at least it is a highly portable way to get it to any printer right up to the minute you need to use it (put it on a memory card or USB stick?). You can then at least relax and find somewhere to print a hardcopy at your leisure without the drama of blagging an internet connection or keeping the 4 hour before flight deadline.

However if the person you choose to get the stored PDF printed doesn't want you to put a memory stick in their machine for fear of viruses then you still have a problem! It seems the 4 hour deadline also applies to online reprints irrespective of wheether you actually checked-in more than 4 hours before the flight.

You are allowed one item of carry on luggage at no extra charge. This cannot weigh more than 10kgs and the entire case (including any wheels / handles) must be no more than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm in size. (The gate staff will ask you to fit the bag in a sizing cage if they suspect it is too large).

If your hand luggage is too large / heavy, you will be charged for to be put in the hold.
