Lamewolf - Glad you are back home. Take it easy tonight it's been quite a day for you.

Sexymouse - I tied vinegar soaked kitchen towel round my bath & sink taps today on your recommendation. Still a bit to scrub off but it's much better. Our water is hard in Essex.

DH has apologised. I think he would have sulked for a few days but he heard from the school that DS1 missed his C in maths by 1 mark. We are now going to pay for a remark. What I can't work out is why they rung DH to tell him? DH has never called the school to sort anything out and I have rung school hundreds of times!

WOOO, my car passed its MOT:T:T:T I'm £225 lighter though:eek: Full service and some replacement bits and bobs as well as the MOT in that too.

That sounds sore Miss H, i hope karma catches up with them! Hitting you is bad enough, but not stopping to check you are ok is really horrible:(

Take it easy LameWolf, glad hospital was ok.

Need to go and put dinner dishes away, LO is in the bath so will zip round the kitchen while she washes herself.

How did you get on earlier Moam?

I put the hoover round and made a start in the spare room....putting all the clean/dry stuff away that had been dumped in there and sorted through DD's underwear drawer(and eventually put in the new socks and knicks that I bought for school!!!!).
    Ironing is still being ignored!!!!!

Going to put my jimjams on now and think about the ironing......
  • Sidetracked after into tea for DS!

Hoovered around, sorted out the kitchen, cooked sausages, made DS some tea, unpacked a holdall - non ironing needed items put away, ironing sorted & on the board, rubbish out. Supervising some homework and later I have ironing to do!

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    *flitting through*

I've washed up, and put the bedclothes in. DD vacuumed downstairs yesterday. Sum total of flying, as I am up to my eyes at school.

The next ten days are equally manic, until next Friday, when I finally get a day off!

Just popped in to send good wishes to all those with miss and master flyladies off to new schools. We take very good care of them, you know!

Good vibes also for all my fellow teachers and our other school colleagues for the new year. grateful - my Year 7 'special' group seem suspiciously ordinary so far. Hope it lasts!

toots - are you okay? What happened? Hugs. And can we have a picture of your necklace?

Hugs also for Miss Higgerty - I wish him some gorse or brambles to go with the nettles...

Love and hugs to Lady-Liberty, toots and diva.

Did I miss something re toots? hope all is ok.
Back from the hospital, scan was fine, I didn't really get to look as I was lying too flat to see and didn't want to know the sex still! Baby is measuring 'within the normal range' though with a slightly big tummy (fat like its mother then....). Estimated current weight is about 3.1kg which I think is about 6lb13oz. Nipped in to go over the results with a mw after who was lovely and wants me to see consultant or one of his team re my hips just to check I am ok re natural birth. So have appt for 21st. She thinks they are unlikely to let me go overdue.

also went up to the physio dept, saw lovely guy who gave me crutches. He said tens machine may also help so I need to order new pads for the one I bought.

Can anyone recommend where I can get a cheapish waterproof mattress protector in case my waters go in the night? Only needs to be for single bed as I'm in the spare room these days!
