Miss H big hugs that sucks

Been looking at elec/gas prices all morning plus made some bread and that is it.

DS1 home now so having lunch and then a bit of a bedroom sort out later and a S&S

just updating what i need to do hopefully get more done today
hope to get the kitchen finished today:j



Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Iron curtains and hang
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything
Level 3
Clear fire surround of gibble!
Put all hotspots into a pile/box and sort through it all while having a cuppa.

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area

Level Two
Wipe fronts of appliances and units
Wipe small appliances and replace.. make sure the inside of one small appliance is sparkly and hygienic!

Level Three
Clear and wipe window sills
Clean out the fridge thoroughly.. work the contents into your meal plan

Wednesday - bathroom, study, pc room, loo

Wash mats, curtains etc that need doing

Clear the pc desk of rubbish and excess piles of junk
Dust any dusty places and vacuum the dog shelf!

Extras

1. Delete 10 dead links from your favourites
2. Delete some unwanted emails
3. HHI
4. Fill a binbag of rubbish and throw it out

So far i've managed to phone Doctors and sweep the floors!! Oh and empty dishwasher and put some washing on! Had friends round all morning so thats my excuse. Me and the little un have had our lunch so having 15 minutes computer time then flying before have to do school pick up. Still not found keys. Slightly worried now so off to search bin and toys boxes (much the same! Full of cr*p!) Wish me luck.

Clear the floor of grot, laundry and gubbins
Empty bins and clean them out

This much done before work as well as laundry and washing up from breakfast. I made the pretend Mcmuffins this morning - they were just like the real thing (except that it took 3/4 of an hour to make - I've said they can be a weekend treat in future!).

Will do the rest after work. Already can see a massive difference in the house though - Thanks all!!:j

Sorry for butting in... I would love to join this, I have been reading here on and off for a couple of years with every intention to get our lives sorted in regards to household living as well as expenses we waste / spend. I was a member a couple of years ago to but never kept up with the site much to my embarrassment.

Can I ask a couple of things?

Could I use this thread to make a list myself incorporating the one on the OP and use that list for me to keep referring to? I mean I make lists at home, I am the list Queen..lol but I just think if it was "Out there" I would be more inclined not to be such a lazy bum about it all. I am looking for a part time job so I really want to learn a routine before I get one. I have been doing what I call "deep cleaning" this week already. I did my kitchen cupboards, cleaned everywhere, I had to, I had weevils :( So everything has been hoovered, scrubbed and bleached in the kitchen. I did the window in there also, inside and out..and last night I soaked the insides of my oven in soda crystals in the bath and this morning cleaned out the oven and put it all back together, I still want to get the microwave done today though

Wow ramble! sorry lol.

I think this thread is such an inspiration, you ladies and guys! Motivate soooo many people. Thank you x

Hi everyone, not much flying today as I've had a migraine all night and most of today . Up and about now though but having to take it easy.

Jobs that are a MUST this week..

1. Drop bags of carriers to nursery for piddly pants and bag of clothes Tiddles has outgrown.
2. Sort baskets of socks/pants
3. Sort boys wardrobes
4. Drop binbag at charity shop
5. Drop shoes in shoe recycling
6. Finish DD1's owl jumper
7. Sort garden toys (loads need binning )
8. Arrange collection for cupboard and dressing table by council
9. Order 2nd recycle bin.. I am sick of mine being overflowing and smelly
10. Sort clothes/shoes etc for wedding
11. Register Freja at GP
12. Make sure ALL the appointments are in my phone calendar!
13. Purchase DD2 a winter coat
14. Set up DD to transfer money to Tiddles CTF to match with Moomin
15. Open DD3 a bank account.. I feel terrible she is the only one that doesn't have an account
16. Arrange repayment of uni money
17. Have 'grown up' discussion with OH (yes I NEED a reminder for this!)
18. Chase CPW re DD1's upgrade.. idiots!
