Pizza Hut was fab - the three of us ate ourselves silly and I was glad I'd done all my bits before we left. Once we got in I just wanted to sit down.
Have the uniforms ready for the morning and lunches made (I've also got the breakfast sausage made so that I can make letting on Mcmuffins from the Takeaway Secret book in the morning!) - feeling quite pleased with myself at the minute.Sealed Pot Challenge - member 1109:j0 -

No,
I never let them in the car! I walk them to school and back, and then I come back and collect my car for work. They make such a mess in it otherwise.
DS2 has a ukelele!
Tomorrow I must make a catch up effort or everything I did on Friday will have been wasted. Our bedroom is unwelcomingly bad. It will be such a relief when he goes back to work and I can get on in peace

Tomorrow I shall be mostly teaching year 5
and I have a list lol
eeeeeeeeeek outside your comfort zone? How is DS getting on with 6th form and PenPen how did your DS do in his exams? Is he at 6th form too?
Done more paperwork but think I'll turn in for the night now and have a read. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hello peoples - hope all is well, big hugs to our long term poorlies and anyone else in need.
Lifes been overtaking the flying again and have been away in the carrie van last week. All french students have also gone now so no more house guests to cater/clean up after, DD has started high school so just DS to get sorted for uni start in 2 weeks. Am back in the full swing of work, house is a mix of uncluttered but dusty rooms and a couple of rooms looking like bins.
Have spent the last 2 days updating finances so now need to rework myself a budget, then make a list of all my must do's (including contacting the fire service again for a home visit as they called when we were away!!)
Love to all
Kaz xMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

He excelled in GCSE science and RE, and did well in AS maths. There are some concerns about GCSE PE, but as his top-science set chums also did badly, we have major concerns about teaching
He started Y11 today (prefect and the shiniest black Oxfords you ever did see :rotfl:).
We're in the process of looking at 6th forms for DS and Uni for DD (places in the south beginning with B are popular
). Where did the time go  :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

I was at Cornhill - made a fab necklace that everybody thought I had bought in Monsoon (those that didnt see me making it that is!) and matching earrings and had a manicure
but also had a bit of a breakdown so not a good afternoon
tried to cheer myself up with having my eyebrows threaded - its so quick - was a bit sore but its over in no time and the end result is excellent (thanks to SS supergirl for telling me)
the morning had started badly with the mouse dying and my standby one was all corroded so had to go to asda tonight and buy a new one - not expensive but it was inconvenient!

Having a good night ladies?
Day two of DD2 starting school. She was so excited and hasn't looked back once. I didn't even get a kiss:(. Anyway I haven't cried except with fustration with DS1 who has swiftly forgotten how devastated he was when he opened his exam results and is reverting into Mr ican'tbebothered.
Had to take DS2 to doc today for freezing of warts on hand. He was more upset that it was blistered afterwards and he had to miss Rugby practice.
Just had a quick skim of the thread. It seems to have gathered pace now that the kids are back at school;).
Kitchen and Living room lists to be updated tomorrow as I am shattered and am heading to bed. Night all.0 -
