Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

How did you do LifeinTurmoil - I'm glad you posted you were joining in as it made me do it!

I've got the following left to do...

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
Wipe table and replace cloth if needed
    Clear and wipe window sills
Dust, deweb and make homeless those spiders!

    Clean light fittings

Just going to take a break whilst the hall and kitchen floor dry....I forgot to bring the cloths through to the dining room.

Oh yes, also had to deal with a phone call from DS's school....he feel and hurt his shoulder. Then he went to the classroom and banged his head. Does anyone think my LO is accident prone. Anyway, they don't want to send him home but they wanted me to be aware of the situation. I missed four calls from them as I was cleaning the kitchen with my ipod on. Must turn the volume down in future.

Going to try and remember a few more contacts whilst the floors are drying.

    Speak soon xx

    even feather ones?

I noticed the cover on feather pillows was a sort of tea stained brown (from not washing pillowcases often enough i presume). Any suggestions how i can clean them up if wm not an option please?

    Hi.

The one I washed was a feather one. Washed it at 60. Seems ok....drying now. Other labels of my mix match assortment of pillows range from machine wash to handwash and assorted temps. There is a thread on here all about it!

Did fridge yesterday resulting in some using-up concoctions for yesterday's meal and today's. Thanks to whoever posted the Banana Bread recipe on here two or three weeks ago - it's fab (not too sweet) and yummy with cream cheese spread on it (what diet?) AND it never fails. Made a mini fruity bread and butter pudding yesterday that OH raved about (actually made from a left over jam doughnut and a squishy peach). Also made baked tomatoes (again squishy) topped with garlic breadcrumbs that was also yummy. So fridge was looking respectable and the door actually closed - then I popped over to Asda at lunchtime and ended up getting loads of whoopsie veg so the fridge is full to bursting again!

Need to tackle the freezer later. HHE x 2 done (lovely weather down here today).

DGS started school yesterday (bless him) and I was OK until DS-in-law sent photos of him just before he left for school - I was all teary. DD expecting next one in January and all seems to be going well with this one so far.

Hugs to those who need one.

    Jx

What a day! I have been very busy at work and don't feel like I have stopped all day. Think I need to start deliberately taking some time out for lunch and saying no to any work during that time but it is not always that easy. Will now see if I can get anything done on my lists before OH gets home just after 6.
