Any other teachers completely shocked by the start of term?! (ducks at the onslaught of teacher bashing)

Me! Well, not shocked - just overwhelmed by what I need to get through in the first fortnight.

    Tuesdays list:
    use inhalers [STRIKE]morning[/STRIKE] and night
[STRIKE]7.23 train to work, back home at 5.40 [/STRIKE]
get DS2's stuff ready for school on Wednesday
HHC in room of the day - DS1's newspaper trolley has been collected and I cleared a small area in the front room afterwards, but no time for anything else. Lots of work to do before tomorrow.
    [STRIKE]process apples[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]do tea[/STRIKE]
    work 8.30-10.30
    S&S kitchen and bathroom
    [STRIKE]do something with DS2[/STRIKE]

DS1 had a good first day at college. Luckily for me he's got a day off again tomorrow, so he can collect his brother from school. DH is taking him in the morning so I can catch my train.

    Wednesday's list:
    use inhalers morning and night
    take lunch
7.23 train to work, back home at 4.40
HHC in room of the day
    do tea
    work 8.30-10.30
    S&S kitchen and bathroom
    do something with DS2
at least 15 min putting clothes away

I feel really out of the loop after keeping up with fred during the holidays. :( So it's got to be hugs, well done's etc as needed. Looking forward to having a bit of a read on Friday afternoon, but no chance of properly catching up.

Dont they have a list of what to expect at the start of term?

    surely not worth the energy?

An enjoyable but not very productive day. I did empty and fill the DW, and I need to sort stuff for tomorrow and clean the bath before i get into it if that counts .
