    Can I join this week?

Am back to work on Wednesday so need to get a proper routine going - we did everything on the list yesterday (kids weren't too happy with being roped in as they're on holidaaays).

Plan to do level one and two this morning - then we're heading off to Pizza Hut for a buffet lunch as a last day of the holidays treat.

    Wish me luck!

If 'Finish Nappy Cake?' was ref my list, apologies if it doesn't fit here, but when I was thinking of stuff to add, I realised It was sitting 1/2 done on the table ( and I really realy wanted it finished & out of the way).

If it's on your list then celebrate it being done - well done
Can I own up that I have no idea where my nearest launderette is :o:p :rotfl:

Neither did I until last year when I wanted to wash duvets for the first time ever :o

Poor Rhys has been up most of the night with a really bad cough, poor pet. I think i'll give the doctor a ring and see if they can squeeze him in, he's off his food too.

Hope he is better soon. When mine were little I used to take them into the smallest room (like downstairs loo) and steam the room (I used the bottle sterilizer with the lid off but a kettle is just fine). Hold the child in the room (I used to read them stories) so they can't get burnt and it helps to clear their chest.

    Morning all

Still in the mood for flying. Washing on the line but rain threatening. I'm doing 15 minutes Paperwork and then back to the lists.

DS3 is lovely the electricity monitor and has turned into a light warden much to DS1&2's disgust.

Kids keep telling me there is a difference between using electricity and wasting it!

Dusty thanks for that i'll give it a go this evening, he tends to be more rattly then. I did manage to get some calprofen in him this morning, i worked out he won't take it from a spoon only a syringe so hopefully that will help him too.

I've managed to clean out the 4 food cupboards, 1 bin bag of stuff removed from there. Out of date.

Next worktops and dishes by hand.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

HHC2 - 1/2 hr distributing WW leaflets for a friend at lunch, it's a good reason to leave the desk & get some exercise.

  • Last day of the holidays today....DD1 should have been in yesterday but we had a message that the school had flooded. So we're going to pick some blackberries and make jam I think. Best clear the kitchen first though so we've got a bit of space. I need a plan of action I think to get me going:

    1. hang out washing
    2. Put another load in WM
    3. empty & refill DW
    4. Clear and wipe worksurfaces
That'll do for now and then we can get on with blackberry picking.
