  • School run shortly - DS seems to have enjoyed his new school yesterday and is asking to go back again!

Flying later once we are all home!

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    HI all

    lovely to see PenPen

Having a great time with my mum being here, she pushed me round the shops in a wheelchair yest and did loads of sorting in the baby's room including putting the curtains up :) that was a real job as v high windows/curtain rail and v thick blackout linings!

DH is a bit grumpy, mainly jealous of my 9 month 'holiday' i think...oh yes, like it will be a holiday! MiL said leave the baby with him one day and that'll put him straight! He's also not keen on visitors, but I don't see my mum much so he can fluff off as Pigpen would say!

Mum is coming down this am (she's staying at in laws) and we'll do some more on the baby's room. She's going to buy some baskets for the change table and some underbed type storage for under the sofa and cot in there. Then we're going for a girly eve with MiL at pizza express :)

first job on the list this morning is the taking down and washing of the filthy net curtains and hand washing of the lightshade

    Cheers m'dears,
    Just lost my post GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Need to excavate dining room before I can fly. Every horizontal surface needs clearing including the floor!!!
However, I had unexpected visitors yesterday and I wasn't totally embarassed:) Just goes to show that baby steps mount up:) Thanks FCC for helping me keep up the momentum and not fall at the first fence which is my past history.
HUGS to all in need x x x

    Morning all (((yawnnnn)))

Poor Rhys has been up most of the night with a really bad cough, poor pet. I think i'll give the doctor a ring and see if they can squeeze him in, he's off his food too. :(

I don't need to head out today so i'm hoping to get loads done in the house, it's a complete tip. :o

First thing first is empty and reload the DW at least the kitchen won't look so bad. :rotfl:

LL love and hugs being sent your way. xx
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Julie Im still in *big clothes* just not maternity. I was on weight watchers prior to getting pg (was part of the process of getting AND staying pg). I carried on with the rules although I stopped pointing. My total weight increase was 5lbs-a huge improvement from DS1-I picked up about 40lbs then.

    Wow that's good. And Congratulations!

    erm... ideas??????

    Send OH with one?!

BTW Rach give your DH a kick in the pants. Its jolly hard work being home with a baby and carrying said baby before its born. Also when he is at work he will be able to
    1. Make and drink a cup of coffee
    2. Finish his conversations
    3. Go to the loo alone.

    Don't let him forget it!!

    Only flying is wm on!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Thanks grateful - i think he is getting the message. It's extra hard work when standing/walking are virtually impossible. He seems a bit better now, I know he hates work and thinks I am getting the easy end being home, as if!!

  • Can I join this week?

Am back to work on Wednesday so need to get a proper routine going - we did everything on the list yesterday (kids weren't too happy with being roped in as they're on holidaaays).

Plan to do level one and two this morning - then we're heading off to Pizza Hut for a buffet lunch as a last day of the holidays treat.

    Wish me luck!
