  • Phew! finished!:j Thanks all! Treated myself to that glass of wine (I wasn't going to have) in celebration. Have already thought of stuff I need to add to tomorrows list...

If 'Finish Nappy Cake?' was ref my list, apologies if it doesn't fit here, but when I was thinking of stuff to add, I realised It was sitting 1/2 done on the table ( and I really realy wanted it finished & out of the way). Am now looking forward to being able to distribute it & the other one I finished over the weekend tomorrow. (Pics will be on the Nappy cake thread in the next few days If anyone is interested/confused)

    Night all, Sweet dreams!

mummyslittleboy, I've always found physio going to speak to school in person works well. Maybe them setting a restricted time for PE to reduce the risk?
pigpen thanks for the FB message, pleased we're not the only ones having similar issues, just ordered 3 types of no tie laces, my friend who runs recommended me some. With the school dash I'd send pinks late so DS3 is on time, will be like a stampeed anyway so doubt they will notice.
vanilla ((hugs)) you sound exhausted honey
G&B pleased it's been sorted, little swine, tell him he's got many flyladies with mules more than willing to assist in teaching him what a brave young lady you have who has enough to deal with
Shysarah farrrr from it, you can't walk through any room in mine without tripping over
    LL ((hugs)) for you x
polkadot for some reason you disappeared off my FB page :( but huge congratulations on the wedding and DS2 awww another bundle of joy!!!
invisiblecabbage only thing I will add is make sure they are 100% dry.

Spent most of the day doing more stuff for the show so house pretty much ignored again, thankfully after Sunday it's all over (trying not to take on more projects) and I can get some order back as I hate it. DSs tops are in WM waiting to go out in the morning to dry, then I must find an iron.....it's here somewhere. I chucked a bin bag of stuff out which always helps if I can do that and even nothing else. I got the boys to help me clear half the LR floor and I boxed some gibblish stuff out of the way.

    List for tomorrow

[STRIKE]DP take his Dad to hairyport at 5.45am..so I will be up early to empty carp out of my car[/STRIKE]:eek:he did it and cleared the path from where the drains backed up again
[STRIKE]Hang shirts & polos out to dry
Try DS1s blazer and sweatshirt on him :o hope it fits!
Sort uniforms, new underwear etc into DS2s spare wardrobe for now - as I can get to it!
Try to get DS1 to tie a tie.....pah mission impossible
Try again to get DS1 to do laces [/STRIKE] elastic going in
[STRIKE]Find the stationary sets I bought and put into cases, then sort DS1s bag
Pack DS2s PE kit ready for first day - apart from Tshirt he's just passed me the note saying it arrived before the hols in school today! [/STRIKE]
Find DS2s shoes and polish, didn't buy new....
    [STRIKE]Empty DW
Help DP fit his new ****ing seats int he car we spent all night chewing on with....[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Find something to try to unblock outside drain as council said another month and it's all over the path outside we have to walk down![/STRIKE]tried 3 types, given up and screamed at council again
At least 30 minutes reading for my ECA .... actually reading the question and choosing which option will probably help - nope been too busy
[STRIKE]Make sure the boys have been bathed and have short nails
Sort the moutain of clean/dry laundry into piles for rooms [/STRIKE]& take upstairs - half done
[STRIKE]Take DPs car for bubble bath once it has seats in, pressure washer broke

Phone my parents to see how they both are

Scream at council for not sorting blocked drain now a river in front of my door[/STRIKE]

I do my pillows and my summer kingsize duvet regularly in my WM, but the heavier duvets go to the laundry. If you have a lot of pillows to do, Dusty's suggestion of the laundrette is a good idea. If you take all your duvets, pillows etc a couple of times a year it'll deal with the dustmites and they'll all be done in one go.

Can I own up that I have no idea where my nearest launderette is :o:p :rotfl:
    Finish Nappy Cake

    Eh?

Nappy cake is a non-edible gift, made from nappies and other gifts for baby and new mum:
