children banished to school.. DS2 was funny last night I asked if his school stuff was ready and he said he doesn't go back until Tuesday.. I pointed out today is Tuesday so he ran around like a maniac for half an hour sorting his stuff lol

We drove DS3 to high school.. the year 7's all look so tiny and scared! Then we got back, collected the 3 girls and dropped them off.. and Freja snoozed in my bed the whole time.. she is just starting to stir a bit now.. (DD1 and DD2 are still home today so she was not left unattended!.. before you all ring SS)

need to kick DD1 out of bed...

Thanks grateful - i think he is getting the message. It's extra hard work when standing/walking are virtually impossible. He seems a bit better now, I know he hates work and thinks I am getting the easy end being home, as if!!

Wow, men really dont get it do they! Some men should i say, i'm sure there are some who are very understanding.
Sounds like you are struggling Rach, have a very gentle hug:A

Just back from dropping DD off at school and have had breakfast, got drenched on the way to school, not helped by some knobhead going flying down the street far to fast and soaking us with a puddle.

Going for a HHC from 9.45 if anyone wants to join me?

  • NOW I understand what a Nappy Cake is - phew - had me worried there for a bit!

Oh dropped off at work, DS and DD dropped off at school. Dog walked and kitchen surfaces strategically hidden in the DW. Must move butt - have to be in work at 10!

No flying this morning and going to visit dear friend whose cousins body was found drowned at the weekend in Durham - very sad indeed. Sometimes a jolt like this puts things in perspective.

Enjoy the little things, for you may look back one day and realise they were the big things.

Not wishing to add doom and gloom to the thread - sorry - just grateful for all I have in life.

The above shouldn't take long, because i did some of it yesterday.

I've rearranged appointments for my physio, missed last week and boy can i feel it, my knee's totally aching me worse than ever.
Also have to buy t-shirts to clarify designs for the bungee jumpers and make cakes stuff for pack lunches. Didn't have time yesterday to meal plan. Paid for boys jumpers, but have to take in another £4 for DS2's school trip.
We also have the funeral confirmed for next week, so were mooning about again, but i will get this house sorted out"
