We had a problem and were recommended to ring the council as it was free and nothing we used was working. We had a dyson and very short pile carpets and it was a cold house! They council came and sprayed for free and it was all clean and clear never had a problem since and we have 2 dogs.0

Another tip .....upend your sofas and easy chairs and spray the bottoms - and don't forget under the cushions!0

The same thing happened to my parents when their dog was PTS.
I would say it takes 24 hours with indorex or acclaim. You will soon notice a difference. Make sure you have covered every room and got into all the cracks and crevices and keep the hoovering going.
Sorry for your loss.0 -
just a thought, I didn't spray the leather suite as was afraid it would damage it & I didn't class it as upholstered (well in leather not a fabric) - could the fleas permeate the leather as there is no weave as such?0

They could go between the seats but when they jump out they may well be caught by the rest of the spray elsewhere. I wouldn't worry too much unless you notice there is still a problem. We didnt treat our leather sofa when we had an infestation and had no problem so hopefully you should be okay too. A year on and we are still flea free.

Just hoover all the crevices in the suite, should remove any fleas or larvae.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
