:bdaycake: Krystal, hope you have a lovely day!

CAFC, that is truly horrible.:mad::mad: May fungus infect the lot of the evil wenches!

Hugs for poorly mummies and bubbas.

Those boy cheerleaders were so cute. I loved how the cheer instructor took no BS of them or their mums.

Got a very miserable madam this morning. She only wants booby after her jabs. She didn't even want daddy cuddles yesterday.

    Morning Wilma.

Is Roxy in a cot, has she learnt to escape too?

She is in a cot and can't escape yet so i must have moved her in my sleep! I usually at least wake up first :rotfl::o

    Morning all

Cafc: I can't believe that happened at your baby massage group, makes me so mad. What is wrong with these people?! You did well keeping your cool I would have lost the plot and told them what I thought of them.

    Happy birthday Krystal!

Went to tescos and got a medela mini for £28 so that was good, tried it last night and although it is very noisy it seems to express more than my other pump did so that's good.

For the past 4 nights T has slept from 11pm until 9am, it's heaven! I'm making the most of it while it lasts...

Can anyone recommend any nicely rhyming childrens books for bedtime?

For the last 3 nights I have read a book called 'Down on the Farm' which Benjamin got as a gift from his pre-school at Easter (I can't find a link but it is a beautiful book, I will find it and post it at some point).

We are both really enjoying Down on the Farm because is has a lovely pace and a rhythm and rhyme to it that makes it flow.

We have lots of the classics, bear hunt etc but I think they are more about active reading rather than bedtime reading if that makes any sense...

So - what do you recommend to read to a 19 month old at bedtime?
The "This is the Bear" books are excellent - Alice chose those every night for six months (until she got some Thomas books).

Sami, we got a couple of audio books from the pound shop the other day, room on the broom and monkey puzzle... Room on the Broom and Charlie Cooks Favourite Book are my favourites... And Hairy Maclairy from Donaldsons Dairy :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I always liked the Lynley Dodd ones, you know, hairy maclary and slinky malinki :)

Also (although it doesn't rhyme) we're going on a bear hunt was always a big hit with mine when they were small!

:rotfl: Husband and Molly have gone to Gymboree for free playtime. I have done dishes, sorted her too-small clothes and put them away, cleaned the kitchen, got two sets of directions for tomorrow's errands, finished my email catchup, done some work on my paper, made a phone order with Vertbaudet (apparently there are known problems with that code; they're putting them through manually and someone will call to confirm payment later) and taken a shower. I'd havee vacuumed but I can't get the mattress attachment off it and I'm not doing the whole flat with Midget Vacuum Head. He's going to come home and ask me how my relaxing quiet time was :rotfl:
