Well, as Bruno's video is obviously too rude or offensive to get past Facebooks security settings, i'm off to bed! :p

EA - pleased the scan went ok.

CAFC - I told Craig what happened and he wants to know where the class is so he can go and "windmill the f*ckers" for you :D

I've been fascinated by the miners story. It's amazing they managed to survive for so long and keep their spirits up. I feel for the last one to come up. It's going to be a long wait for him all by himself.

It's Maggie Thatchers 85th birthday today and it's quite ironic that the day has been a media fest over miners :rotfl:

Charlotte was talking about her friend's baby brother before she went to bed. He was in a baby carry seat when we saw him, and she asked "Mammy, why do they keep the baby in a basket?" :rotfl:

I've totally ripped off this information for my FB status:rotfl::o.

*ahem* I am still here, you know! :p

It is a very harmless video of Elijah demonstrating his elite reading skills, I was just trying to 'share' from OH's posting rather than upload it myself, but I am outwitted.

    This praps works?

Just make sure they are not any hidden costs. For example, do they want a contrabution towards farrier costs (which could be every 6 weeks) or vet fees, rug fees, one off feed or bedding fees.

And get a written agreement drawn up hun, one of the horse societies has a printable one you can download and fill in. And it has been 'tested' in courts when things have gone wrong (horse getting injured etc).

But it is a good way to get the fun of a horse without the expense. Mostly horse owners are great and just want a wee helping hand with the stable fees and a day off, but there are some who will try and squeeze you for every penny they can get and make up ridiculous rules.

Oh and check out the yard, last thing you want is turning up to a snotty yard owner/manager who tries to tell you what you can and can't do then runs off to tell tales.
  • I had my first mince pie of the season today :D It was yummy!!!
