*hugs* to anyone in need. Bruno, sounds like your having a tough time, hope things work out better for you.
Currently got a very wide awake baby on my knees, he is talking to the painting above my head LOL. Me and OH had a friend over so had a very late night, T decided to wake twice: 2.30am and 6.30am which is unusual for him, I'm suffering today!0 -
Thanks everyone

I did manage to get OH to the cafe and park afterwards and everything was fine and I think she now knows she was over-reacting and has calmed down. It did get a bit forceful last night and this morning she tried to pretend she wasn't going but she knew I was going to explode if she didn't go.
All good anyway, for now, thanks for being helpful with my rantings
I do understand why it's particularly difficult for her - we talked again about moving to California - which interestingly she doesn't want, and I "do want" in that I am beginning to think it's the only way she will ever be able to be comfortable and happy about family-and-friends type stuff!0 -

Bruno. I would tell your wife to grow up and stop trying to make life horrible for those around her. You get angry at the unreasonable dad behaviour on here, I am angry and frustrated on your behalf at your dw's appallingly unreasonable behaviour. You must be a saint. Stop taking it, you are just asking for more.
Aless, you are positively timid compared to me! But I don't think it is harsh as such, she needs to stop being so horrible to those around her.please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Quick question... I am having a halloween party for some kids aged between 12 months and 18 months. I am planning on making a cake shaped and decorated like a pumpkin, and some cupcakes decorated to look like spider webs.... but then I run out of ideas. OH friend turned up at the house (that wasn't the plan!) so I had to get dressed and gather up all the mess in two minutes flat! They're out now. I've been to Asda - just scoffed yummy carrot cake with a cuppa!
Now for some tidying..
Ticklepenny, are these any use?
Not sure if they might be a bit much for some littlies!

Sorry I posted the pics and ran off. The pink one is pink and black organza made to be piratey so rough about the edges, thick 6inch strips and not pulled tight. The green one is 5 inch trips of green netting and 5 inch strips of ivory organza. But it's the roll organza so doesn't fray. The ends are cut to points for a pixie feel
pulled tight so I could get lots of strips on.
The rolls of organza are far easier to use for anyone else thinking of doing them.
Tickle penny, go get the supermarket mags, loads of stuff in them! I have the asda and somerfield one (or is it sainsburys? Who do Tu clothing? Them) and Friday night I made little ghost merangues. But my oven is too hot. Will try again on a lower heat though. Very easy to make if you have a good electric whisk.0 -
I think when people have issues, as most of us do we then go into 2 catagories. Those that recognise them and try our best to deal with them, face them or come up with strategies to get around them, and those that stick their heads in the sand and keep the behaviour up. For me and DH we both realised that being too close was making the situation worse, so we stepped back, I felt his support was amazing, now I feel more in control rather than out of control and am usually the one who suggests she stays though realisticaly I dread it but that's for me to deal with. In other words, until you recognise it's you with the problem you can't move forward. XToo many children, too little time!!!
