Tara, I can't remember, I will apply again just in case.

SM - Katie got the garage for Christmas last year, is well used and still looks brand new.

I joined instore and got 20% off there and then. Have a go and make up the form details if you have to, or put your Mums details. X

    Night. X

Do any of you have a samsung Tocco light thinking of getting DS one for xmas are they any good ?

James has got one of those and he really likes it. It's easy to use and he manages fine with it. It's been bashed around but it still works. The only problem is he dropped it on the path and broke the clip that holds the battery cover on, so it's stuck on with sellotape!

Josh has got a Sony W595. He wanted a decent music player as secondary school is 12 miles away so they're on the bus for quite a while each day.

How early did people first experience proper 'false labour' type pains? OH is only 31 weeks and today (and a couple days ago, but not yesterday) has been getting some serious, have-to-lean-against-something or go on all fours type pains which are quite contraction-like... they're nothing like regular or etc, but they're quite debilitating and it will be bad if she is having them most days for the next 2 months, especially when alone with Elijah :/

James was due to be born on the 28th Feb, and I can remember having really strong labour like pains on Christmas Eve. I was at work and my supervisor took me to hospital. I was on monitors but they settled and I was allowed home. I'd been rushing around like an idiot and they said it was probably just my body telling me I needed to rest. It could be that she's just been overdoing things with your visitors and stuff. If she's like me, I can never really relax properly when I have visitors! Make sure she gets checked out if she's worried though or mention it at her next anti-natal appointment.
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks all re contractions, kind of validates what OH thought but I get anxious :p

Elijah is a little language sponge - he has started calling OH two of the pet names I call her  :o one of them is not too harmful but still disconcerting, the other is just confusing to anyone not in the know! :p

Thanks Tara, I've registered on the website to set up a gift list and joined on there.

The house I want to get her is 20% off, fingers crossed it's still on offer on pay day with a free furniture set.

Have I told you lately that I love you Krystal :A

We went to North Wales in the end. Boy o boy, my baby can be hard work when he wants to be...I love him dearly but this 'not quite old enough to be safe and trusted/not quite young enough to be controlled' age is a nightmare!! Overall it has been a lovely day but toddlers are tiring!!

We are going to Dudley Zoo tomorrow to see if he can throw himself in with the lions!!!

Hope everyone is well. I am afraid I flicked through the pages and nothing went in :o

How very cute!!! Please elaborate though :p

Benjamin shouts 'STEPH' at me really sternly and I worry where he has heard it :rotfl::rotfl:

Today he sobbed 'no more mummy please' when I tried to cut his toenails :o and then DSS has taught him to say 'I dunno' in a sulky teenager voice and with a palms in the air hand gesture :rotfl::rotfl:

He also answers when you say 'N is for' 'NANA' (as in banana!!) and B is for 'BABBA' and gets it right no matter how many times you ask!!!

I keep meaning to ask - does Mrs Bruno sing California Dreaming to E often?

She never does! Only I have done, as far as I know.

One of the phrases is 'sweetie' and it's funny watching him hunting OH running into each room in turn shouting "Sweetie? Sweetie!" very sternly.

Benjamin is very cute :) and I think quite advanced with his dialogue powers! Hope he didn't exhaust your patience with him... I'm totally with you on the challenge of too young to listen to reason, too old to be locked down... :p

Oh my - so how on earth did he know the verses? Is that a little freaky? :o

Benjamin excels in some things, but is hopeless in others, I was a talker from very young too....my mum often says that Benjamin is like a carbon copy of me

I am loving his independent use of words now :D He also has a wicked sense of humour and loves to 'tease' his big brother by 'hiding' things (under his legs or whatever) and then 'finding' them again!!

    Hope DW is okay. xx

  • I love the things they come out with. Yesterday Amelie asked me if I knew the 'Raisin Song'? She had learnt it at school. When I said no she proceeded to sing it to me, it was only then that i realised she had misheard and should have been singing 'Praise Him, praise Him', but she's been singing 'Raisin, raisin' - she won't believe me of course!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • How very cute redstar!! Bless her xxx
