  • evening, any chance of a bit of advice?

dd has been a grump all day, has vomited nearly everything shes eaten, 2 quite spectacular projectile stylee, she'll fall asleep in my arms but as soon as i put her down she wakes up within a minute screaming until shes picked up again. Would you ring the emergency doctor or am I being a neurotic mother?

Becky is it bottle or breast fed?
has she slept v.much today, on you or otherwise?
Maybe give her some cooled boiled water.... does she feel hot to the touch, running a temp etc?

but i'd say if you're worried, just call them, like they always say they'd rather you call and nothing be wrong, than not call and something be wrong iyswim

  • i've been giving her infacol before a feed and there's definetley loads of wind coming up and down!!! she just doesn't seem herself, now has hiccups and is screaming between each one.

no temp, have tried to give her some water, wouldn't have it outr of the bottle but got a few teaspoons in her earlier, had a bath tried every which way of holding her,`will only sleep for about 10 mins max at any one time before the crying starts again no matter where, or which way up she is

Becky if you're worried call NHS 24 and ask, or bypass them and go right for the out of hours doctor. Better to call her/him unnecessarily than worry all night.

    Hope she's ok.
