Elle the pictures only show half the garden, you go through the trees and there's more with loads of fruit trees.

    Thanks MDW. XXX

Christmas lists bother me. I was brought up by parents that said it's rude to ask for specific gifts. Husband was brought up in a family where they say what they want from people. It's a bit awkward as he wants me to say "I want this" but I feel really uncomfortable doing it :o

While people are looking for gifts, if anyone spots any offers on Christian Dior J'Adore perfume, please can they let me know. I promised to help my Dad find a present but I'm not sure of the best place to buy it :o It must be eau de parfum, and he's willing to pay around £50-£60-ish. Either just the perfume or a gift set with toiletries in would do.

Did a perfume mystery shop a couple of weeks ago and the lady sprayed a new one called Lady Millions on me. It smells fabulous and I was very tempted to buy it.
Here I go again on my own....

I'm with you Becs, too embarrassed to ask for pressies and was horrified when DH's family gave their requests. Did it at first then just bought something else, they got the hint after a couple of years. DH wears Paco Rabanne Million, it's lush!

SM, horrible day for you. X

We used to put a wish list together then wait and see.

Now it's ideas of what we would like then see what turns up. I suggested a watch to DH today as I haven't had one for about 18 months.

Katie is putting a wish list together, she's already informed Grandma what's she'd like (a scooter). I picked up the ELC catalogue this afternoon and she's spotted this, so I'm going to get the house and ask DH's family to get the rest of the furniture sets and dolls to go with it, that way I'm hoping to reduce the amount she gets as she does get overwhelmed. Also there are other buildings to go with it which will sort birthdays and Christmas out for a while.

    Hugs SM.

I tell DH what I want and he still manages to not get me anything. lol!

We do now tend to tell people an idea of what to get, for us as well as for the kids. It saves them getting too much of something (toys, PJ's etc). And as an extended family we will get people the same thing every year. For example an aunt gets the kids PJ's, I get the nieces hampers, granny gets the kids clothes... just because when we pick those things, we pick good ones?

Me too, Becles, which is why I keep the Amazon list - it's a convenient place to remind myself of things I might want when I have spare cash to buy them, and Husband has it because otherwise he'll buy me shoes and I have enough :o

Tia, PM on its way. I didn't go to the shop today but I will on Monday.
