yes, I always sell my mobiles on eBay, so might be a good source to get a cheapy one for teens? That way if there's a particular brand they want, you could still afford it.

I have a wishlist on Amazon caz - mostly books by PD James that I'm missing from the series but also a cookbook and a few other bits. There are 11 items on it, ten for me and one for Molly, and buying all of them would probably come in under £50 so I'm hoping Husband clears my wishlist :)

I asked my parents for some knitted socks, another book and the 6th Harry Potter DVD.

    Afternoon all..

Hope everyone is well.. only read this page, will catch up later :) I'm taking a cheeky break from tidying the house - OH has taken Rhys out so I've emptied the unit in the living room (the one were I just shove stuff to get it out of sight!) while I don't have a small person trying to help. It's at the "worse before it gets better" stage right now :o

I have a Christmas list, always have done. My family stick to it but presents are always a surprise from OH's family.. which often proves, errm, interesting! This year, I've already bought a Radley purse (in the Debenhams sale) which OH is paying me back for, and a cake mixer I've been after that I spotted online and ordered and my grandparents (Grandma was the one who taught me to bake) have paid me back for and taken to wrap ;) Have this diary from my parents. Btw, MM showed me that site - blame her if you start browsing and it costs you a fortune! :p I have a silver charm bracelet that everyone knows about so usually get a few charms for that too :)

Am about 60-70% there with my Christmas shopping already. Don't think the postie or the Hermes delivery lady like me very much at the moment, and I'm a weekly regular at the sorting office collecting stuff too big for the letterbox (or where they've ignored the "leave with neighbour" comment on the label.. grrr!!). Still no idea what to get OH for his birthday (17th Nov) or Christmas though :(

Suppose I'd better get back to tidying.. :( Hope everyone's having a nice weekend. Cloudy here, what happened to the sunshine?!

Hi all, can't stay long, terrible headache and the screen is making me feel sick.

We are cutting down on Xmas this year, after last year and it just not happening I realised that all the stuff you doesn't mean anything. Apart from spending loads, filling your house with more stuff and your kids then expecting it and not appreciating it, sort of want to get back to how it was when I was broke and they were excited over the day and smaller gifts.

    3, have pm'd you. X
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
