Sorry not been around so having a major style catch up.

Rmac – Not a magazine tester, just receiving lots of help and support for my current problems and my way of saying thank you is to cook up a batch of brownies. I am better for not having to cope with the rubbish work throw at me, just looking forward to it being over so I can find myself a better job. I am also a tester for CFR, thanks Aless.

Signing – I used it with Katie once I realised she was going to be a late talker, we were also too cheap to pay for lessons so just used Mr Tumble. Her first sign was orange.

Katie is currently on her toy phone talking to Father Christmas giving him her wish list – a scooter, Chuggington Trains, a dolls house and a picture of fairies.

Katie has a feed in the morning (I have a date in mind when this will stop) never planned on feeding this long, but I’m sure it’s helped her become the independent little miss that she is :)

Niceness - DH had to wait 12 months!

Katie cuteness - singing random nursery rhymes, so far horsey horsey and baa baa black sheep. DH also informed me today that she likes to sing along to Paloma Faith New York

DH has spent the last 3 hours trying to fixt the lights in the living room, we have 2 overhead lights, and the switch for one of them got stuck this morning and refused to switch off, so off we toddled to B&Q for a replacement switch, but as we rather quirky wiring it is taking him a while – at one point both switches were required to operate one light.

Katie surprised us both at swimming and a proper dive from standing, without a belly flop, this is something that she hasn’t even been taught!

Took Katie for McD’s for lunch, where she surprised the woman in front us be asking for carrot sticks, where on receipt of said carrots she ate the most I’ve ever seen her eat there, it seems that a pile of chips puts her off food, DH had the chicken selects and she “borrowed” he sour cream dip for her carrots.

Cross stitch news, calling bird is complete I’m not 1/3 way through the partridge in the pear tree.

    Hugs to everyone.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Well, I managed to eat less than a quarter of dinnner and now have sulky DH, I tried.

Thanks Sami, I could look on Tescos actually, think it's free delivery at the mo.

Elle, it seems ages since I've crossed your path. Did read about Rhys's op though, was in Feb time? X

Hope the headache goes very soon Tara!

Wait for it! Big shock! OH is doing DIY! He is replacing the beading on the wooden floor. Has some circular type saw thing out and tools and stuff!!

So to get out of the way, Alex and I have been for a walk and i've then made choc-chip muffins whilst Alex was trapped in his buggy in the kitchen banging wooden spoons against the washing machine!

During our walk, we went to Lidl and i've bought a box of 25 cookie cutters for £3.99 and it includes xmas trees, santa and a snowman fior anyone planning any christmas baking.

And even better news than OH shifting himself. Joe can ride his bike finally. He's so chuffed to be able to go out with his mates and ride it. :T

Yup.. The closer they have it to just before they're two years old, the better. Apparently after two they lose the ability to get their eyes working together, but the nearer they are to two the better because they're bigger and it's easier to do the fiddly stuff, iyswim. They're going to loosen the muscle in the inner corner of his right eye, and tighten the muscle in the outer corner of his left eye, hopefully to square them up. Only loosen/tighten, not cut any out so it's reversible in case they go too far one way (whited out for the squeamish!). All very straightforward really, should be sorted in a day plus a month of drops. Next app is 4th Jan and it'll be 2-6wks after that for the op :)

How are all at Chez Tara? How are Poppie and DD1 doing? Any higher offer on your house yet? Found another one? (or is that the cause of your headache? :o)

ETA: Hurrah for Joe's bike riding, WM! :D

    :( Tara, how awful.

:j for bike-riding Joe and speedy Rhys

Dinner happening here very imminently. Bless, Husband asked if I'd mind if we had it early but he has less than ten minutes to make that happen :rotfl: I love that he's trying though.

Headache is part of a flu virus that the doc said is going round, it's horrendous at night, actually managed 6hrs last night after 2 cocodamol. :(

Poppie is only 1lb lighter than Maddy. And nearly as tall. :rotfl:
House going well, we are in discussions as to whether we but a house near to the price we are selling at then improve over time, or buy one much cheaper giving us £100k+ to make it our wow house. Confused at the mo. Not saying to much, have explained on the FB discussion about stalkers!
