I just emailed my SIL asking for her updated address. She sent me a very long reply detailing her latest health issues and job situation and various other things. But no address.

you can a second phone on your contract. or when your contraxt is up for renewal, you get the expensive upgrade to iphone etc, give it to the child and keep your old one.

do think its shocking though the amount og teens you see with iphones or blackberrys

Becles hope you and Charlotte have a nice time at M & S. Are you a mystery shopper?

Yes I do mystery shopping, merchandising and auditing work for various agencies.

Charlotte enjoyed Marks and Spencer. We had something in the cafe and although there were childrens iced biscuits and stuff, she picked a fruit bun and announced it was healthier as it had fruit in. An old lady behind us was very impressed

James wanted a Blackberry, but I asked him to justify why he needed to access emails and PDF's on the school bus and he decided maybe he didn't need one after all :rotfl:

I know we have kids here with Iphones, Blackberries and pandora bracelets and this is from around age 8!!! i cant afford one for myself never mind buying for them. The bigger 2 have netbooks but only as i have a friend who buys them to fix and sell on. I got a great deal on 2, if it wasnt for him they wouldnt have anything like that for christmas! although i cant wait to see their faces as they know we couldnt afford things like that normally :T

MFD, ouchie, but you iron jumpers? Crazy lady :p That said, my grandma used to iron undies, which really is crazy.

No idea how long madam will be BF, but how on earth do you hold an older baby? My arm already goes to sleep sometimes when I'm feeding Sophie.
oh forgot I quoted this yesterday :p You don't need to hold bigger ones :D, I am (depending how you look at it) lucky that Edgar only likes feeding lying on his side nice and still so I get non of these crazy bum in the air booby gymnastics that Krystal and Ladybird report, I just pop my C shaped pillow on my lap and he gets comfy.
following on from that and the hair cut convo, I'm desperate for a hair cut, I can't wear my hair in a nice pony any more because its too heavy, it pulls my head back and gives me neck ache! But Edgar insists on holding a hand full of my hair when feeding so if I get it cut he'll be all grumpy he can't reach!

Caz some of the £50ish mobiles in tesco have a n offer where you get them 1/2 price or something when you spend £50+ in store, Hubby got an actel blackberry-esque thing on that offer a few months ago but last i looked it was still running :)

I sell my old mobiles on ebay or to my mum :p There is no way on earth I'd trust a child with something as expensive as iphone especially seeing how so much stuff gets nicked/lost at school
