SS I put a dishwasher tablet in with them every so often. That, a few drops of tea tree oil and a spoonful of bicarb and they lose the ammonia smell.

Hello everyone by the way :)

No idea how long madam will be BF, but how on earth do you hold an older baby? My arm already goes to sleep sometimes when I'm feeding Sophie.
They tend to hold themselves when they're older... Or in Caitlyn's case go from sitting to standing and swinging her bum in the air from side to side...

I had to fill out a new form for Surestart today because they didn't have D's information... It asked how long in weeks I had breastfed each child... I made my friend work it out and as I wrote it down she said "you're just making yourself sound like a dairy cow you know" :rotfl:

Cloth nappy users: the instructions for strip washing BumGenius tell me I need to use one teaspoon of Dawn liquid per tablespoon of washing powder. What's a non-American equivalent way of doing it, please?
I do believe strip washing is just rinsing and rinsing until there's no washing powder residue left...

I've tried strip washing, I've bleached my washing machine out and haven't used and washing powder on my nappies for weeks (just essential oil in the softener drawer) I put them on an intensive wash, 2 cycles...

    And they still bloody stink!!

Hubby does not have a bag on with me...

But I don't feel bad about eating the shortcake...

And I arranged a parcel monkey courier for Monday because I never have plans for a Monday... And we're going to see ITNG live on Monday...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks Boo - do you put it directly in the machine or in the powder tray?

Edit: and thanks Aless, you all move too fast for me :)

I normally put it in the powder drawer.

Thanks for everyone who joined the cheese group, I won a full wheel of cheese worth 50 euro :rotfl:

Tia I love the leggings you linked to, very cute.

I had Isla weighed yesterday and she's now 17lb 13oz at 46 weeks, her nephew who is 3 months younger and was dinky at birth has overtaken her! If the girl ever stopped moving meat might have a chance of sticking to her

    Thank you lovely fairies.

Hi Boogelly. ETA: Yey for your cheese! Do you really like cheese that much?

The paper-plate moon, with craters, is currently drying in the kitchen. I think it may take a while, she slapped the paper mache on thick.

She knew about the supposed three golf balls, footprint and american flag. They watched Apollo 13 earlier in the week. They had to get parents permission as it's a PG. I felt quite sorry for the two in the class who weren't allowed to watch. :(

3 - No! I like cheese but not that much. It started out as a joke and OH and my BIL were adamant they were going to win, they got one vote each. It's actually my other BIL who was promoting the competition, he live's in Croatia and was trying to get the profile of the group raised. I thought he'd try to wriggle out of letting me win ha ha.

CAFC For your homework this week we would like you to make a model of the moon. You can use any materials to make this, but think carefully about what the moon looks like and what you know about the surface of the moon. Use the plate provided for the moon itself and then build your ideas onto it.

I'm assuming its THE moon - but it doesn't really specify. .

I literally thought I was being given homework then LOL
