  • Right - I am determined to see the sea this weekend. Any thoughts on Weston Super Mare vs Conwy (or similar N-Wales type place)?

I have never been to WSM...have done most of NWales but not for ages...although last time I went to Rhyl my ex totalled our car on the way home!!!

This sounds like an excellent plan. Are you a fan of gingerbread cookies? Stollen? Marzipan confectionery? Windmill shaped biscuits?

    Indeed :D

SS, extended working BFer to a 14 month old monkey, pumps in the office when essential, shirks from home when not.

    Cookies or biscuits! :D

What size and colour? How many? Can't guarantee to get them till after the 20th when kids go back though.

I've only been to prestatyn. But it was really nice and we went to a lead mining museum that was ace. And a steam train. Chris was only 1 at the time but he did enjoy it (till her ended up being taken to A&E with a horrible chest infection).

CAFC For your homework this week we would like you to make a model of the moon. You can use any materials to make this, but think carefully about what the moon looks like and what you know about the surface of the moon. Use the plate provided for the moon itself and then build your ideas onto it.

I'm assuming its THE moon - but it doesn't really specify.

    SS!

My local Asda had these in and I though of Miss Molly http://direct.asda.com/george/kid-s-clothing/younger-girls/leggings/leggings/GEM49447,default,pd.html

Because they look lovely and warm. And far nicer than in the pic. Like arran knit tights. Pink cream and I think grey or black.

We have these very cute leggings in lilac, they came with this outfit. http://direct.asda.com/george/baby-clothes/girls/pinafore-and-cable-leggings-set/GEM49233,default,pd.html
They're lovely and snuggly, but do make V's legs look fat. Or maybe she just has nice chunky legs. :rotfl:

    And again; :rotfl::rotfl:

Wallpapering is done, house is still quite tidy...i'm feeling quite productive this week. :D

    Where's Bruno?

ETA: MFD We used to go to WSM when I was a LO, my Nan from my Dads side lived there. I don't remember it but the photos make it look like a very pretty place. I'm a little bit allergic to North Wales but i'm sure there are some lovely places dotted about.

ETA again: Here's me sitting sniggering at 15.10pm. I should be at school.

  • 3 - from that description I would assume that they have been learning about the moon and what the surface is like and the teacher will be looking for evidence that they have been taking that in...so craters, dust, texture etc (then depending on what they have been taught a little american flag, some 'golf balls', part of the shuttle was left behind wasn't it?)

3! That outfit is sweet and now I'm going to have to buy it!

Amber has wee fat legs, she still has the fat folds at her knees and thighs!
