Looking on eBay for a gift for my niece who will be 11 at the end of the month. She's quite punky/goth/sassy and wants jewellery. I have this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=120625526537 which she may get (I like it too).
That like didn't work for me and I and I want to know what it is.
Tesco's was interesting, the tills were down and only the two self service ones were working. Apparently it was the same all day yesterday too!
I took the three very full bin bags of unwanted/un ebayable clothing to the place that buys them off you by weight and got £15.70.
:money:
We've just got back, and I sat V down while I went to make some lunch and she's fallen asleep. Time to get on with the wallpapering I think.:beer:0 -
We've just had the CAMHS (is that the right way round?) lady out. She's going to see J in school next week.
Hope that goes well. They were brilliant with James and helped loads. Yes you did get it the right way round
Head spinning from revision, so I'm going to take the dogs for a walk soon. Weather here is pants and it's been foggy all day. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Here, 3.
Another good thing about today: the giant box of stuff from the UK arrived :j Husband had hidden it, so I turned a corner and there it was! I am very pleased and have been having a fabulous time unpacking it.
The 3kg of excess packaging my mother insists on not throwing away defeats me though - how she can think that catalogues and junk mail are things she should include in a box where weight is money is beyond me. Still, I am very very pleased with my haul.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I nipped home at lunch to check the decorator was OK. I've had to put the dogs in the spare room so he can paint the kitchen door. When I went into check on them, Miss Phoebe who acts so decrepit that sometimes she just sits down and refuses to move when out for a walk took a flying leap from the window sill to the floor . (she is 14). She has obviously jumped on the bed, then the draws and onto the sill to have a good nosey out the window. The cheeky mare.0

Sand or table salt in your past will give it a rough texture as well.... does it have to be the moon or a moon.....She has a paper plate, and has to turn it into the surface of the moon - be as creative as you like.
How do you make paper mache? Or does anyone have any other ideas to transform a paper plate into a moon?
I LOVE that stuff!Krystaltips wrote: »I shall cheer myself up by eating the caramel shortcake he left behind... Everybody should try Thorntons Caramel Shortcake... It's super addictive...;)CAFC - I might have missed your post but have you decided when Secret Santa info will be passed on?
I opted for 15th november to share out in case there are any newbie joiners..... which reminds me actually.............but if people would rather have it a bit sooner let me know xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Secret Santa - The Final Plan
Anyone who would like to be involved with secret santa, please pm me with the following:
1. Ages of your kids that you'd like involved come Xmas
2. Any allergies that you or your littles ones suffer from
3. Address.
Please note :
From the preliminary round the following have been set
You'd be buying a gift for mum and kiddies (the pairings are done based on similar circumstance, e.g multiples with other multiples)
There is a £10 spending guide (as everyone's budgets are different but a guide means noone feels pressured to spending more than they've got) in total.
PM's must be received by 10 November so that the pairings can be allocated and gives people plenty of time to shop/post/make
TA DA! For any newbie-licious ones xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I'm sure you don't mean it to but I found this a tad upsetting.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »LOL - you could still be there in 2 or 3 years if you go until she decides to give up!!

The WHO does recommend BFing for 2yrs and there is no reason why Michelle couldn't do that if she and Ayana so wishes
Edgar has now got a dicky tummy so maybe Chris's at the weekend wasn't due to Daddy giving him that ham - good job i was too tired to be snippy with him about it
