:T Yay for David. Sorry you have been in pain Hammy. Hope you are ok?

And happy birthday to csh's Kieren.

It's mighty quiet on here. Where is everybody tonight?

I fell asleep, on the couch this time, watching Law & Order. I don't seem to be able to watch the whole of an hour long program that starts at 9pm.

SJ, I too had my own house, bought with an ex, we split, I got the house. Met OH, he moved in, then I sold it and bought another, sold that when we split. Rented for a few years. God knows where the cash from the house sale went...... Then we bought together 3 years ago. If i'd have stuck with the first house, i'd have paid about 14 years mortgage that was somewhere around £250 - £300 a month and much more affordable.

But it's all ifs, but and maybes and hindsight is a wonderful thing......sigh

Every time you lot talk about something it seems to happen for me LOL! after the talk of the signing classes last night i have recieved a letter asking me to start in November!!!

I am definatly buying a lottery ticket this week after you all talking about winning :D

I think each baby is different and will need to be started on solids at different times, its like saying at 3 months every baby should be in 3-6 months clothes when some will be ready and some wont? my bigger ones were weaned earlier as that is what i was told to do? the little ones were given solids when i felt they were ready.

i am bored, the weather is misrable and i dont feel like doing housework. Have reserved some toys at argos so can pick them up when Oh gets home. just got a top i won on ebay and it smells? whats everyones plans for today/weekend?
What's for you won't go past you

    :T :T :T Well done David!!!!!

Grey and miserable here. Need to get myself showered and dressed then might have a walk out to stretch my legs, or do some more flying!

Oh, Alfie has started doing a funny fish-face type thing, opening and closing his mouth in a fish-like manner. Been doing it for about 3 days now and it's especially funny in the bath!

...I might well be the most gobby though ;)

    Agreed! :p

    Very cute pics.

We sign with J, and V has picked up a few signs which she uses appropriately. She also signs the song at the start of Something Special. (hello, hello, how are you, etc).

We've just had the CAMHS (is that the right way round?) lady out. She's going to see J in school next week.

Soon i'm off to the tip with the bags of rubbish I got from L's room yesterday, and her old bike. Then the clothes collection place to see what I get for my four bags of unwanted clothing. Then to the one-stop-shop to make an appointment with the welfare/benefits person about the DLA tribunal.

Then i'm going to re-wallpaper the two sheets that V coloured in, then possibly use the left over wallpaper paste to help L with this weeks homework.

She has a paper plate, and has to turn it into the surface of the moon - be as creative as you like.
How do you make paper mache? Or does anyone have any other ideas to transform a paper plate into a moon?

I'm still in my big fluffy pink robe :D And I just spluttered coffee everywhere. No reason for it I just did.

Looking on eBay for a gift for my niece who will be 11 at the end of the month. She's quite punky/goth/sassy and wants jewellery. I have this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=120625526537 which she may get (I like it too).

    But I need advice :D Upto £15

3, paper mache is just newspaper or tissue paper in glue. I'd use tissue paper and paint the paste over it. When dry I would mix flour into grey paint and use that to make the surface texture. Mix soem thicker stuff and you could then get a small doll shoe for footprints ;) Lighter grey for the dust craters.

Fairies ran out of sellotape 3, but they will get some later today and head to the post office ;)

They also had fun the other night making the fairy tutu and were nice and relaxed after it :D

I am so not creative, but could you stick some oats in the flour mixture too, to give a more textured appearance?

Oh yes an Red Fantastic news about the mortgage acceptance:T. I hated every single minute of applying for the three mortgages i've had. Major stress and many many headaches ensued.

thats a really good annalogy caz. I totally agree. FWIW A had solids at 17wks and we weaned using both baby-led and puree mummy led. We did take it slowly though and we've had no bad consequences (yet). But A will show you when she's ready and instinct is THE best thing to go on.

Caz- weather here sucks too. I'm having yet another CBA day and canoot remmeber how on earth I managed in the days where LO never slept. I've had a weekl of broken nights and I'm reay to send her to live with her grandparents ;)

    ?

Oh dear - V is creative isn't she :rotfl:

We are still doing the decorating debate, but have now got samples pinned too the walls to see what we think. Was going for one feature wall of paper, but with furniture in front of that wall so no drawing incidents ;)
