Susan I have been looking but not found one :(

    Edit: found one.
    They only ship to US/Canada.

And the Mega Shop Bot doesn't turn up any of 3's "Friendly Floatees".

Ah booo, I'm sorry :o I always forget to check that because I send things to my BIL.

MacSmiler, I don't bother about it normally, but in Germany titles are bizarrely important so ignoring it is very disrespectful IYSWIM. I went through a stage right after I finished where I refused to answer to anything but Doctor, but that only lasted about three hours and then I got bored of it.

Oooooooooooh, my colleague/friend has just announced the safe arrival of her baby!! After 30 minutes of established labour!!! And it's her first!!!! She's going to have to install some sort of restraining device for the next one :rotfl:

    Afternoon all.. :)

Hope everyone is well.. will go back for a catch up soon :)

We've been to see the eye consultant this morning. Looks like Rhys will be having an op to sort out his squint in Jan/Feb next year  Have to see the consultant again on 4th Jan then it'll be 2-6wks after that for the op. Obviously I'm a bit nervous but mostly happy it'll be sorted - we have to accept patching isn't going to solve it alone. I trust the consultant (my good friend is a theatre nurse who's worked with him for a long time) and he's a nice guy. It'll be a one day thing, no need for dressings after just drops for a month. Hopefully it'll be here but there's a chance it might have to be at Sheffield due to the aesthetics and kidney issues.

Off to grab some lunch while Rhys snoozes and have a read back.. :)

They do get very grotty don't they!

Is there a reason for ducks having a hole?

Susan I couldn't find any friendly floatees for sale, but kept coming across the very cute story about them. Did you see it?

I've just started a throw-it-in-and-cross-your-fingers type dinner in the slow cooker. Lets hope its ok!

I had peppered steak that needed using, so sliced it up and fryed it off, threw it in with some shallots that needed using, and an old beef casserole sauce pack mix that I found lurking in the back of the cupboard.

Alice's are in the dishwasher. This is why we put the lid down when we flush the toilet though.

I didn't see that particular article but I did read the story about it. It's amazing that they turned up in places so many years later.

I presume they used to not be able to make them without a hole but now manufacturing methods have advanced so they can.
