Sorry if I'm being thick, but what's the wooden spoon trick?

It was the lovely wise MFD's suggestions when V was quite happy to walk holding my hand, but if I let go, she's fall onto her bottom.
I started to walk her, both holding the end of a wooden spoon, until eventually I let go of my end and she didn't notice and carried on walking. :rotfl:

Btw - your wedding sounds like my kind of wedding.

Does anyone know where I can find rubber ducks which don't have a hole in them?

No but apparently "Unlike many bath toys, Friendly Floatees have no holes in them so they do not take on water".

    And I got 8 SB's for the search. :D

    Can I ask why?

    hello ladies

had a busy busy weekend and we're off on our hollybobs to my auntie's cottage in the yorkshire dales shortly :)

Thanks to everyone who helped get T's andrex puppy. It came yesterday and he LOVES it!

I did my own wedding makeup too and everyone commented how nice it looked. My friend who's a makeup artist was shocked that I wasnt having it done but she gave me some tips so that it looked good in the pics. She was also apalled that I wore my hair down (i had it prof straightened tho) and didnt get a tan...like susan said, it just wouldnt have been me.

Because all Alice's ducks with holes in have gone mouldy inside.
