They do get very grotty don't they!

Is there a reason for ducks having a hole?

Susan I couldn't find any friendly floatees for sale, but kept coming across the very cute story about them. Did you see it?

I didn't see that particular article but I did read the story about it. It's amazing that they turned up in places so many years later.

I presume they used to not be able to make them without a hole but now manufacturing methods have advanced so they can.

Thanks for that - I'd only found Amazon so far.

I think I can safely say Landen is having a growth spurt.

So far we've had bottles at 4:30am (Hubby got that one MUAHAHAHAHA), 8:45, 10am, and 1pm.....of 200mls!!!
For the past week or so he's had 6 bottles in 24 hours.... so god only knows how many he'll nom through today.

Im trying to decide whether i can be bothered to go to baby massage tomorrow..... now i know where it is, its not quite so stressful and with any luck it wont rain tomorrow.... but it was horrifically pants.... and i did come home thinking it was a waste of my time..... hmmm decisions decisions.....

Better go and get Jam Master L's bottles cleaned and sterilised......

Does anyone know where I can find rubber ducks which don't have a hole in them?

I've wondered that before. Charlotte's went all black and mingy inside and she kept saying "oh no, it's got mank in it" :rotfl:

I don't think men see dirt in the same way as women do. The number of times I've said something like "this floor is filthy" and says there is nothing wrong with it. He would notice it was dirty if the dogs ran through and planted huge muddy paw prints everywhere, but he doesn't seem to notice normal dirt that builds up over a few days.

Hope Rhys op goes well Elle xx

I've had two weddings and felt better on the second one. My Mam took over the first one and I had that wasn't me and caked on make up and a veil which I hated, and I just didn't feel like me at all.

On the second one, I did get make up done but I told the lady I just wanted it to be like natural everyday make up, and not caked and she understood and did a lovely job. She did my hair as well and it looked more natural and more me, and I didn't have a veil.
Here I go again on my own....

Elle L's friend had an op last year to correct a squint, I didn't even know it was possible! She's obviously a little older than Rhys, but she was straight back to school and it was a 100% success.

Becles At least you had your first wedding to practice, so you're second one could be perfect! :p

OH has his meeting in 20 minutes time, with the big boss, to tell him if he's any good and if he'll be signed off as independant.

I have my japanese cookery class again tonight so have to pop out to get some ingredients.

Had to share my excitement though. Today is library day and Lo actually sat on my knee while I read her the four new books we got out. Perhaps we are making sitting down and concentrating progress after all!!!!!! :jump:

new words today are: toilet, panda, snake, tap (I only count a word as new when she uses it independently i.e. not just paroting me)

  • The bath toys are disgusting! Have just thrown all of ours after I chopped one open, am deeply disturbed, will have to order the ducks without holes now....
