GISI, this sounds weird, but could you have stretched something in the night?
It was sore yesterday too though, it's just got worse overnight. It's like the bone is aching, but the skin is also sore, like I've stubbed my whole foot really hard, but I haven't!
I am happy to have won 2000pts on BP though! That's cheered me up no end.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator 0 0

Sorry you weren't feeling well and  our whole wedding including the honeymoon didn't even cost that much. I just wouldn't enjoy something like that if I'd spent that much money on it.Pants night sleep here as my bowel was playing up. Got up and watched something on BBC3 about school proms and was shocked at how much parents spend on them. Most were spending a few hundered pounds on one evening. One spoiled brat had £3.5K spent on her dress, hair and make up and transport  It's a stupid amount of money to spend.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Thanks Susan, I missed that first time round - that's great news Becles.
GISI, that sounds really uncomfortable, but you could have stretched it in the night or had a cramp or something?

This is why I sometimes give OH written instructions. They're not foolproof but they do help.I've just taken a shower, he was supposed to have cleaned in there after the drains-fixing man came the other day. There is nasty black stuff all over the bottom of the bath and the little stickies Molly sits on so she doesn't slip, all up the wall, all over Molly's washcloths and all over the shower curtain and he swears he didn't see any of it. No, because he wasn't f'n looking. He seems to have emptied a pan of water down the immediate area of the drain and assumed it was done. So I'm there, in my five minutes of peace, scrubbing the walls and can't get the bottom of the bath clean because my feet were also covered in it and every time I moved somewhere I'd cleaned got dirty. I came out and burst into tears I'm so angry and frustrated with his half-a**ed approach to cleanliness.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Morning much better night here tho T is still not better.
Ishall stop moaning about my OHs OCD cleaning! Souids like I should count myself lucky even if it is really annoying when he disturbs my sleep by clattering about. Actually I really shouldn't moan about him I give him lots of stick and he cooks and cleans without moaning,I just wish he would think more of T as a joint effort instead of me having to tell him to do things for her, I know he could do it if I weren't here.
Am watching I can cook with T,is it sad I really like some of the stuff they make, today honey tea loaf Cant wait for T to be able to do some baking I saw very cute aprons with gruffalo and hungry caterpillar and that ballet dancing mouse who's name escapes me atm. SS - yeay for Miss Mollys steps
Krystal - hope you got the LO's to co operate in the end.
Anyone know a salt free hummous recipe so i can make some for T as I have chickpeas sitting in the cupboard.
Glad you had a better night with T.
Not authentic, but I've made hummous with chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil and a couple of spoons of fromage frais to make it nice and creamy. I also stir in some pesto for Henry (although pesto does have some salt in it).
Also Henry really likes falafel, so you could use some of the chickpeas on that if T would eat it? It's a good finger food.
My cousin had an expensive dress for her prom, then she had a spray tan, full make-up done, hair done and false nails. And she had this at the end of year 10, 11 and 12! I didn't have all that for my wedding!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator 0 0

I have a charm bracelet question please! I'm thinking of getting my step-sister one for her birthday (24/12) and then some more charms for Christmas. If I just buy her a generic bracelet can she (or anyone else) just buy charms from any jewellers for it? I'm not looking to spend as much as a Pandora one costs, just a bog-standard one from a high street shop.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator 0 0

Have you tried agreeing set responsibilities? My OH is responsible for all the kitchen clearing up stuff so washing up, dishwasher, slicing and freezing bread etc., portioning up and freezing batch cooking. Also bin/recycling emptying. Because he is "in charge" of doing those things it means he knows what needs doing and can just do it whereas if it was all my responsibility then he would need me to be asking him to do things. He doesn't necessarily do all of those things because I will do some of that stuff in the day or when he is putting Alice to bed but because he is responsible for it, he makes sure it's all been done once Alice is in bed.Jakesmummy wrote: »OH doesnt do anything unless i ask him, its ridiculous really i mean he's not a child, if he lived on his own im sure he'd keep the place tidy but he's got muggings here to do it instead, but hey i dont have a job but he doesnt understand that he has a lot more bum on couch time than me.... *and breathe* rant over sorry lol!!Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

My friends from my course (I got married just after finishing my PGCE) were horrified that I was going to do my own hair and wasn't going to wear any makeup. (I don't have anything against those things but they're not "me".)got-it-spend-it wrote: »My cousin had an expensive dress for her prom, then she had a spray tan, full make-up done, hair done and false nails. GISI I think the regular ones have a little hook/clip/ring thing that fastens onto the bracelet.
:rotfl: Husband appears not to be talking to me, but he had a query about the ongoing legal battle against my former landlord and called my lawyer. I happened to comment a while ago how annoying it is that she keeps calling me Mrs SS and herself Dr Lawyer, and when he answered the phone just now she must have asked for Mrs and he, all fake innocence, says, Who? Do you mean Doctor SS? Question answered anyway and we're taking the horrible deposit thief to court.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Searchie Hope today goes ok. I wasn't about last night to offer you a hug, so have one now instead.
SS Well one for Miss Molly finding her legs. :j
Becles I'm glad the other boys Mum sounds reasonable.
 I can't remember anything else........:(
Susan A friend of mine who never ever wore make-up, bowed to pressure from others and got her make-up done for her wedding. She now hates the wedding pics because it just doesn't look like her!
L has silly ideas in her head about having a Super Sweet 16 (?) style party. It's from some bizarre american tv programme she's seen, i've not seen it myself but it sounds  from what she's told me!
It's absolutely freezing today, i'm hoping ironing will warm me up. V is making me feel cold by refusing to keep her socks on.:beer:0
