Maddy's just woken, her cheeks are covered in a very red spotty rash. It was there when she woke so we stayed home today but it went down a little. Now she's slept it's really bad again. Can teeth do that?
Benjamin gets a little raised rash on his cheeks when he has teeth coming through - that and awful nappies are sure indicators (we don't have many other symptoms here).
Is she very warm? Could it be a heat rash?
Does she have it anywhere else?please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

when we go to my mums, she and dad rent us 2 travel cots a hi chair and a double buggy for the week for £25 from a local baby shop.I have a question re: travel cots. I have a big bulky and heavy travel cot, but we've only used it when travelling by car. I'm heading to London later in the year and wonder what we can do instead of lugging it with us on the plane. My friend hasn't got one we can use and I'm not sure that she would sleep in the bed (though she's have to share with me). Any ideas????
Is that worth a try?

MFD, I think the worst of in this situation will be those that just go over the £44k and one is stay at home parent, and those that just go over and the other one is on a low wage and pays childcare so looses a lot of their income to that.Too many children, too little time!!!

So if I stop work then really the CB needs to be in my name? (ideally, to protect state pension?)

You would have filled in a form to apply for child benefit and put it either in your name or your husbands. Any letters about it then come to the person whose name it is in.
so a really dumb question from me then...
what's the thingie with whose name it's in and NI?
ETA: I've just read Sami's reply and realised I misunderstood your question.

No, just cheeks, still there but not so red. Calms down once she's been awake a while. All my others teethed so easily. Her top back ones are coming through at the moment.Too many children, too little time!!!

I wouldn't mind if they took our CB away. Although I disagree with it in priniciple, while it's available to me I'll claim it because we've paid into the system but I don't "need" it.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Ooops - so I am the only one who will happily give their CB back

!!!!!!. The man at the head office had made a mistake and not realised he'd already given that property to the council bidding system :mad::mad::mad:
World crashes down. All hope dies. Fooooooooooooooooking !!!!!!
Awww that is really crap. I'm so angry and disappointed for you *hugs*
Bruno - I don't do guests very well either. Having people over for a meal is bad enough when they "help" with the washing up and put things in the wrong places
Child benefit - I'd miss it if we didn't get it. It's part of my monthly budget and I'd have to try and find extra work to cover it if we didn't get it. Neither of us is anywhere near being a high rate tax payer, so I guess we are ok.
Charlotte seems fine, but I pointed out her lip at nursery and said it was probably best if they kept her away from any rough play. The teacher seemed very surprised and said Charlotte never does any rough play and said she's a very quiet placid girl who prefers sitting reading or drawing quietly to rough play. She didn't believe me that she's a whirlwind at home, won't sit still and is happiest rolling about in play fights and beating up her big brothers.
The all day children had just finished lunch, so I left her doing the washing up again. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Oooo, a ceiling on all benefits, now that's a good idea!Too many children, too little time!!!
