I know but that house was SO perfect. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO perfect. After my mam spoke to the woman on Friday she said it was mine so i told DS and he's gonna be heartbroken. If she hadn't said that i wasn't gonna tell him. Well my mother nagged me into telling him.:mad::mad::mad:
None of the houses they own are anywhere near as good as that one. The rest are too surrounded by chavs
Can you not bid?
Too many children, too little time!!!

OH Beenie, thats awful, I hope they resolve it soon especially as you have told DS as well....Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0

Bidding has already happened. Someone's being offered it today, and if they don't want it then they'll work their way down the rest of the "massive" list before me. I.e. more chance of winning lottery.
I've just rang him and all he said was "i'm sorry it's all my fault, but i can't do anything as we've made the commitment to the council"0 -

Oh no Beenie. I'm so sorry.:(
that's where I got my £88.21 from, (£20.30x52.142)/12
not that I'm saying I'm right, I love maths but it doesn't always like me! Just thought I'd show my rough workings like you do in school
I get mine every 4th monday, like you've said anyhoo
so I think we are saying the same thing. I just thought MFD wanted it in calendar months.
I am overly literal sometimes

I know what I was gonna ask, iphone people, do you have security on your iphone for using the web? Someone got my CC details on Saturday and tried to spend £535. Great news is Natwest thought it odd and rejected it.Too many children, too little time!!!

Apologies - I haven't had much chance of catching up properly recently, so apologies if this all comes out even more random than normal. After another hectic weekend, A is now at school, Freddie's down for a nap, so I can finally post in peace

Ooh sounds exciting Tara - are they far off what you want?
Beenie - I'm soo sorry, I hope this crap means that there's something even more perfect just round the corner.
WM - just read back and I'm sending you hugs.
Sir Monster - things do get better. Freddie's just (and I'm touching wood with everything I've got here!) started sleeping through, and he's nearly 6 months.
Bruno - I don't know how you're managing to stay sane. I find it really difficult having people over, and I think I would have already be well on my way to a breakdown in the same circumstances.
MFD - congrats on Mr MFD's job - great news.
Becles - hope Charlotte's lip's better soon. And I laughed at your description of 'hide the teddy', that sounds like something Amelie would do
Sure I've forgotten plenty of things...

In lots of other countries the tax allowance is shared by the parents (such that say one parent earning 40k would be taxed the same as two earning 20k each). I think it is much better but unfortunately in this country you can't do that unless you are self employed.I really don't feel (well I wouldn't, would I...) that the tax/benefits difference between two median earners and one high-earner plus 1 SAHParent needs to be further swung towards the two median earners
Curse you, child benefit changes!
