I really don't feel (well I wouldn't, would I...) that the tax/benefits difference between two median earners and one high-earner plus 1 SAHParent needs to be further swung towards the two median earners

Curse you, child benefit changes!

I'm waiting in for a Virgin man (snigger) today. I'm hoping he's going to say my Virgin box is an antique and he'll give me a nice new shiney one.

Hey all...
Kindof - have a fab hol, I'd love to be off to the lakes x
Becles - poor C hope her lip is better soon and glad your carpet is blood free now.
Bruno - I like us having our own space so I can appreciate how even the small stuff is annoying.
WM - the others have already said everything there is to say about your OH but I just wanted to chip in my support x
Tia - the thought of your sofa on it's travels was funny.
Thanks for the replies about duvets I think I'll look at getting one for T in the new year as that's when the temp really drops here. Had an awful night here as T kept waking up and at one point was awake for about 2 half hours! She has a snotty nose, sore bleeding bottom and teething pains not to mention being tired!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Yes - it also occurred to me that you could have a joint income of over £80k and still get CB....linking it to personal tax liability seems to just be an easy check...although what would happen if the non-working parent applied for the CB?
I still think it is a positive step forward though
albeit doing myself out of *is ashamed to say she doesn't know how much CB she receives each month*
please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

For example, DH earns £46k, we loose it, next door earn £40k each, they don't. How is that right?
Csh has suggested on another thread capping it at 2 children. Admin on that would be easy.Too many children, too little time!!!

He keeps drinking my wine.
Most of the things sound like minor annoyances which would become a big one all put together, I really hate people being in my way in my tiny kitchen.
But that ^ one is unforgivable. :rotfl:
Becky My old car had a container (like the water one) labelled for the brake fluid, it was quite simple. I'm not sure if all cars are so simple though, I haven't done it for years. Thats what I keep OH for.
