  • Oh Bruno, I really sympathise and would be pushing them out the door to go to Ireland in your position. Feel free to rant to us on here, since I think in-laws annoyance is particularly grating since you can't really even moan to your OH about it! I for one would love to hear about the petty annoying aspects of FIL, if only to make me feel better about my own FIL who has developed an annoying habit of farting openly wherever we are, whoever we are with. It is both gross and something that my family would never do, hence it being particularly annoying!

  • Does anyone know how to put brake fluid in a car? Will the rac do it if I ring them?

That Bruno is getting aufa cheeky recently...

Thanks, I used 'Predicted ID' and 'Actual ID'.

But now, I still have some more to finish off but BOTH my ears hurt, paracetamol hasn't helped and now I have cold shivers. So I'm taking my butt back to bed while Amber sleeps. Coupled with the strange headache last night (still got it a bit) and how I'm feeling this morning, I'm planning on staving off whatever nasty pathetic little bug that thinks it can DARE to over run my immune system. My immune system will kick it's scrawny butt while I sleep :D *fo shizzle*

Bruno things with OH have always been like this. It's a roller coaster of ups and downs. Usually the downs are just after his payday, when he has cash to go out and get p1ssed. He is then nice to me when the cash runs out and he needs more off me. I lost it a few months ago, banshee screamed at him about how i hated him and my life ( but not my kids). He was going to redeem himself. He did not.

I haven't always been soft! I was hard once. I left him when J was 10 months old. He was an even biggerp C word then and there were other women involved. I sold the house from under him. 12 months or so later i'd let him worm his way back. Took me along, long, time to work through it all, i've never forgiven or forgotten just moved on. Then Alex came along, and things have gotten harder for me because he is such a lazy get. While he seems to think that he is the only one who does a days work. His day is 8.20 - 6pm. Mine about 6.30 - 9pm. But i'm just a moaning pathetic cow. He thinks he's complementing me when he says i'm a machine and hw doesn't know how i do it all?

Anyway, that's enough from me. Where is my ruddy decorator? I should be in work!

Em :rotfl:at your sofa collection! I did wonder what your bizarre fb status meant!

Becles I hope Charlottes lip is better and has gone down this morning. :(

WM  I don't know what else to say.

Kindof Have a lovely time, if I haven't already missed you.

MSE is being very slow this morning for me too.

    Happy Birthday SB.

Bruno Please don't explode, we'll miss you. I'm glad you've got the office to go to for some space. :)

GISI  At your FIL's farting - how rude! Mine never speaks, never mind farts, he's an odd one and I couldn't think of anything worse than having him stay here for an extended period.

My baby girl is being very cute and doing all of the signing for the Something Special theme song.

I'm waiting in for a Virgin man (snigger) today. I'm hoping he's going to say my Virgin box is an antique and he'll give me a nice new shiney one.

  • He, he at waiting for a Virgin man, 3! I hope they send you a lovely one with a shiny new box (oo-er)!

He really isn't that bad, honestly. I think anyone who wasn't a personal friend I enjoy chatting with, would be causing me much strain just by being in the house.

He takes up the spare room, so that's OH's retreat when she wants quiet time, the room I work in if I work from home, and also his mattress is unavoidably in the way of the closet with all my shirts and work clothes hanging in it.

He heard me get up this morning so got up himself, but didn't get that he should be quiet the way I was, and woke up E and OH both earlier than they needed to wake.

    He keeps drinking my wine.

Last night I was cooking and E was in a highchair eating supper, and he was done and I called for OH to come and help with him, and he rushed to get there ahead of her so he could do it. Which is nice to help OH out but I called for her not him because the things I needed doing for him were things she would do automatically and he would need explaining and I was in the middle of something and trying not to divert my attention.

Giving E breakfast this morning in the kitchen, trying to tidy up the kitchen some at the same time before I left, load dishwasher etc, and he stood in the middle of the kitchen eating his bowl of cereal and 'entertaining' E, both delaying him eating his breakfast and getting in my way in small kitchen as I moved around worksurfaces and cupboards ducking around him.

You get the idea - they really are minor things! But they are in my way. They impede my getting stuff done, my relaxing, my quiet times, etc. Wah wah. And I fear the new guest presence.

None of which comes remotely close to WM's situation. I remain very angry on your behalf. Very.

Have a good lie-down Tia, hope it helps :) I predict that your actual results will be a healthy, bouncy lunchtime Tia.

Yes, you definately should. Then you should fairy post it to me just in case I ever go out one night.

Only thing is, the bra situation? Would you have to get one with an invisible strap between the boobies? Or a stick on one? Or are you lucky enough to be able to get away without one?

  • Becky - I haven't got a clue but personally I wouldn't be messing with brakes. Call the RAC and see what they say....?

  • Big hugs WM, your OH sounds like a knoob. Hope you can enjoy a sly peaceful cuppa while you're waiting for the decorator.

That all sounds pretty annoying to me Bruno.

I LOL'd at the thought of going braless :rotfl:. I have a breastfed 10 month old, dontcha know, and whether it is the pregnancy or the feeding my 36E's aren't where they used to be :rotfl:. Good shout though, may have to rethink.
