I get a bit flustered talking about awkward stuff, so I think I might drop her a polite and friendly message on Facebook. That way I can get down everything I want to say, and not stutter then get embarrassed and miss bits out

Sounds like me!
How well do you know her? Friends?, or you just know her through the boys?
Could you give her a friendly call and say "sooo, what's going on with our boys then?":beer:0 -
I haven't had Finn weighed since he was about 8 weeks old
. He also hasn't had his 8 month development check - we moved right around then, but the old GP never contacted us about it and I haven't gotten around to phoning the new HVs to see what we need to do. I'm not worried, so I figure why bother?
SJ, your rant is totally spot-on though. Maybe you should stop going to the clinics? If you're happy with him, then what's the point?
Sorry, I ranted and ran eariler! I had the 8 month check thingy appointment booked for me so I will go to that but probably won't go again, and if I do it certainly won't be often. I quite like to know how much he weighs, just for my own interest, but whatever the number is doesn't make any difference so I guess I could manage not knowing.
My DH is extremeley noisy getting in from work too. Very annoying. 3, ditto your OH, mine gets into bed and farts too, and he farts a lot in his sleep. Men, sometimes I think I should've been a lesbian :cool:0 -
3 i laughed at your story!
we also hate flies, me and Charlie have a game he has a newspaper and i have something and we chase the flies and hit them. The cats usually join in and the rest of the day is spent cleaning up squished bodies lol!

Oh yey - i've got a twin. :j
I loved the brown too, and did consider getting both.
MFD I bought new boots before going up into the loft to get the large black bin bag containing boots from previous years! I have a shocking boot problem, with at least 20 pair up there, and 5-10 favorites in my wardrobe.
Ooh I have a boot fettish too.
I also spent half an hour trying to convince my best mate that she needed to go buy the brown ones. Because the had one pair left in a size 3. She is far too sensible and is declining to get them. But she will be sorry when she sees how fab mine are :rotfl:0 -

Yes - both hubby and I both blubbed!

Soppy stuf makes me gag. I'm really not romantic unless 'here's some flowers/chocolate/bottle of irn bru, lets shag' counts as romance. All that airy fairy stuff just makes me go 'I couldn't be bothered with that and he'd be told to GTF'.

I want new boots
But i have massive calves so i only know that Evans ones fit me, i am too embarrassed to try others on in shop cos i will look a !!!!!! hopping around trying to get it on/off. But Evans are expensive, plastic and crap and the pair i own let the wet in and are too slippy.
I didn't speak to that woman today
Took my mobile on school run with me but when i got home and chec house phone, it had a missed call from withheld at 3:22pm. So that must have been her and she didn't answer when i rang her office
So now gotta wait the weekend out and the woman only works part time so no idea when she's next in.
Am only 175 swagbucks off my next Amazon card
