CAFC, how was returning the Quinny?
well he'd sent me a snidey email saying that providing everything was returned and in the same condition, he'd refund me....
And Im thinking well how about you refunded me solely on the basis that I spent my time bleeding well cleaning it so its being returned in even better condition!
It was his wife at home though, so she basically just took it in, gave a quick glance over to check what bits were there and gave me back my money, she did apologise to me, and I just said "Well maybe you and your husband should be a bit more honest and upfront about the condition if you plan on putting it back on ebay, because I was really disappointed"..... and she sort of looked really sheepish and said "I know"....
So she's fully aware that they are trying to take people for a ride...
Im actually so glad that I grew a pair (:rotfl:) and said I was returning it, I dont think I would ever have been 100% happy with it, so MAHOOSIVE thanks to GISI for the email....:D
And now I've got my uber fantastic Britax... and Im amazed at how well the canopy/hood covers it......:TWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I'm glad the pushchair saga ended well, CAFC.
Katie is just so cute, MDW. I can't wait to do baking with Henry.
Hugs SS, it is a tough situation. You need help with Miss Molly, but at the moment DH isn't in a position to give that help. I totally agree with others that in your position I would consider some paid help in the near future, and I feel sure that is what you would advise one of us in your position.
Enjoying some peace and quiet this evening, although I do feel like another very early night is on the cards.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Have you already left feedback CAFC?
If not i'd be tempted to leave a netrual but only because they refunded you, otherwise it would be a neg.0 -
Well done CAFC - I'm so proud of you!
Edit: I feel like paid help would be giving inOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

CAFC - I'm very impressed
Sounds like her husband was the one behind it all. Good for you for calling them on it.

I've not left it yet.
I was in two minds for ages because yes I have got a refund and technically he listed no returns but then by the same token....
It wasnt as described condition wise
Significantly damaged
Not fit for intended purposes (didnt stay folded)
It was dirty and smelt.... kept in a house with animals (which no mention was made of, I know they dont have to, but it smelt like dog
and then theres all the snidey/rude emails....
I guess neutral would be the "nicer" option to do as i have got my refund but it was begrudgingly done :rotfl:
But oh well, joy is restored in my tiny little world... cant wait to take my new one out tomorrow...
we're going house viewing, got 4 viewings  hopefully i'll be able to remember them....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
*hugs* SS. So actually, it boils down to your being frustrated at your husband's illness more than him himself? Even as little as an afternoon a week might help you recharge your batteries and don't feel guilty for considering it. Also, do you think Lebkuchen in Germany tastes better than what I can buy in Lidl? Because if so, I will trade for some Quality Street or similar :rotfl:
CAFC, pleased the pram situation turned out well on both accounts!
DH is driving me mad (in a good way) by going through all the old photos on his phone of Finn - right through to when he was born! It makes me veryand
at the same time.
