Thinking that SS has been very quiet today - off Oktoberfesting, maybe?
No, just tired and annoyed and not wanting to always be whinging.
A friend came by though and we attempted to make scones, they turned out crap and then Husband waltzed into the kitchen and made perfect ones for us which is both very nice and very annoying.
Whited out whinge because I feel better once it's out but you can all ignore it
I'm so tired, he claims *I* woke *him* last night - I was up for hours with the baby he woke because he lacked the decency to go to the sofa and he's whinging about being tired himself. I'm more tired at the end of my week off than I am at the end of a normal week
Molly's feet really stink, tooand the man came to fix the drains and I sent him away because he said something about the washing machine, which we had fixed recently. He came back though but Husband was all uppity about my mistake. I'm not fluent in German, I make mistakes, it happens. He shouldn't have gone out so I found the guy at our door not knowing he was coming, but somehow it's my fault.
As you were.
Also, someone order a Stollen? I found one today.
Becles, if you have time I'd sneak in ahead of the other boy's mother and make a complaint about him first. I hope James is ok though.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Pretty annoyed about the kid coming round and sticking his nose in and will be fuming if James gets reported to school. The mother has me on Facebook and has both my landline and home phone number, so quite why she couldn't sort it out herself is beyond me. I don't condone what James did and it's right he should be punished, but the other lad should take some responsibility for his actions and be punished instead of being made out to be the innocent party.
Grrr
My first thought was is this boys mother aware of what happened or the big hard cousing coming round? Maybe if he knows he's guilty, he's not even told his mother??
Have a hug SS.:beer:0 -
Susan, Alice is so very clever. I think she must take after her mom in that respect

Becles - can you get in touch with the other lads mum and see if you can sort it between you, I'm guessing she won't want her son reported to the school either.

James and another lad had a fight on the bus. The other lad was mouthing off so James told him to pack it in. He kept slagging James off, so James twice told him to shut up or he'd punch him. The other lad punched James in the stomach, so James punched his face and he fell back, and everyone else threw water over them both. James has a mark on his tummy and the other boy has a mark on his face and a bump on the back of his head. They were both soaking wet.
My reaction was to tell James off for fighting, told him to sort it out and call a truce with the boy on Monday, and I wasn't going to do anything else. Boys fight each other all the time, and I'm sure they're not the first and won't be the last to have a scrap on the bus.
Then a 15-ish year old cousin came round on behalf of the other boys mother. I've never seen this lad before and he was all full of his self claiming the other boy is innocent and what am I going to do about it. I explained James was hurt too and I'd sort it out. Then he said the mother is going to contact school and get James removed from the school bus.

Beccles I was about to say what 3 said, but she beat me to it. I bet his mum doesn't know, and the school won't hear for that very reason
I'm busy picking out a new bathroom cabinet. Need to go measure the current one first though - I've no concept of how big the ones I'm looking at are in comparison. A little job to do at bathtime I think!
