I'm sorry you're so disheartened by your employers, hopefully they realise what they're losing just after you have a far more awesome job somewhere else.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

His business has been in trouble for some time now - the current state of the economy has meant that contractors are holding onto payments for a little bit longer so he is having to spend a lot of time chasing late money (which he is not very good at TBH). Anyway, yesterday he sent an email to his biggest client saying that things were not good and he was thinking of winding the company up. They asked him to go in and see them at 8am today.
He has just come out and they have decided to set up a new division of their bigger company specialising in hubby's field and they were going to approach hubby to run it :j:j
It couldn't be better timing - if it all comes off it will be a bl00dy miracle but I would love to see him with the weight of the company lifted off his shoulders.
Also - he hasn't brought in a regular wage since we have been together - if he starts a job with a salary we will be rolling it it :rotfl::rotfl: I might have to give up MSE and go and find a forum called MoneyWasters R US or something :rotfl::rotfl:Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Ok so Landen has decided tv is so much more entertaining that anything i could possibly do, or anything else he could possibly play with.... and the worst thing is, i've switched the bleeding thing off, yet still he's staring and periodically batting at the hanging toys that i shake in front of him, i think hes only doing that to appease me...
My mum is coming with me tomorrow to return it (as I forgot DH is still at work). I plan on counting the cash very slowly in their face, and im going to get all the bits to their door before i knock so they cant just take it in and then shut the door in my face....
We dont have paypal (debts and blah blah) and normally i dont mind dealing in cash, but obv when something goes wrong its a pain.
At least he seems to have accepted im bringing it back and he's giving me back my money, bet he's just gonna do it on a second chance offer anyway....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

*fingers crossed*
I love mooching about supermarkets too.
MFD, that's very exciting news. Would it help take some of the pressure off your decision regarding your employment status?
Jake, that really doesn't sound like a fair system. If the cake was on the lunch list, then cake should be available for everyone. It doesn't encourage kids to develop good eating habits either, if guzzling their food brings them 'rewards'.
