Sami For as long as i've been driving, people have said, you're insurance will go down once your 21, then 25, then 30 - and it has never gone down. :( The only time OH's ever went down was when he added me as [STRIKE]an older [/STRIKE]a better driver. :p

It will be interesting next renewal as he's had a bump this year. The confusing bit is, he had a bump in my car so will it affect my insurance, his or both?
OH pet rant at the moment is Whipcash claims. The bloke he went into the back of (at less than 5mph) had absolutely no damage to his car, ours had a cracked number plate and the grill had popped in, but the correspondance between insurers mentions the driver & his wifes injurys!

I hope it's a great one when it happens. I'm trying to book us a few days in London (decided by the rubbishness of Easyjet's times to Ednburgh) but just CBA.

I think I was just looking to book for the sake of it.
I'm going to look at Feb half term or the Easter Holidays. Visiting family in Dublin again is a possibility, they have fab. stables next door so L can do some riding. Maybe flying and hiring a car to travel and visit other parts of Ireland this time.

Plus OH is moving to a different team/shift pattern this week, but doesn't know what it is yet, so we've no idea what shifts he's on for October half term.

and thanks to whoever (think it was beccles) posted the link for regatta outlet, i bought myself a waterproof jacket and it arrived today. is fab and saved me bout £30

Yes it was me! I bought myself some running tops when I got Charlotte's coat. It said they draw moisture away from the body. They're much better than cotton t-shirts for boot camp and I don't feel as sweaty :o

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. Still deciding what to do for the best. Had a crap morning at work as everything went horribly wrong. Not my fault - stands not arrived in store and it's a tiny store so they didn't have the gondola end and stock lines that I was told they would.
Here I go again on my own....

Michaelle, with DS1 I bled for 6 weeks, it slowed down and I then had a 2 week period which was very heavy, stopped for about 3-4weeks and another 2 week period. If t';s really heavy it is a good idea to get check out just in case. It is probably just your period though, they can be really bad for the first few months. Didn't seem to e so bad with DS2 and Amber but I had C sections with them so can't really compare.

Same, yes, our car insurance went up by almost £100. House insurance went down but that was because we were with a rip off company at first.
  • Our Annual Travel Insurance went up loads...and I noticed that they are offering lots of 'bargain basement' type policies which are a similar price to what we were paying before but don't cover what you would expect from travel insurance. Not had to re-insure anything else yet - Oct and Nov are our months!

oh yes! said accident in sept 08 I ran into the back of someone (thought she was gonna go through on amber but she didn't :o) I was goin 15-20mph max (when I slammed on and skidded into her so hit her pretty slow really) my whole front end crumpled so I needed about 4 new panels and bumper and associated spraying which came to around £3k, the woman I hit was in a sh!tty old astra and all that happened was the no. plate light fell out so most she would need was a new bumper maybe a new bracket to attach it but the total cost of the claim on my records was over £8k  I knew she would claim whiplash coz the second she got out of the car she was rubbing her neck and she reported it to the police coz I had a call to go and produce my docs  I know where she lives and a couple of months after she had a shiny new car on the drive!

Ouch MFD good job you've sorted B's Christmas prezzies already!

Jenny, I was just about to PM you to see if you were okay! Kept forgetting to ask about you here :). Sorry to hear Erin is poorly as well - wow, it's definitely going around! Best wishes for tomorrow, I hope it's not too hard on all of you. Hopefully Erin will surprise everyone and be just fine with less feeds. Are you going to pump or what for her, since I don't think she takes a bottle? Just being nosey because still trying to decide what to do for Finn! (we've successfully cut 1 of his day feeds, but there's still another right about now and wondering whether to just make him go without or try and sub with some milk from a cup)

Woohoo, got another interview. Not for 2 weeks though! What's with all these long time scales, argh? Don't they know people need work straight away! :p Oh well, the way I see it is a couple weeks out of work won't be any worse than being on SMP, so it's okayish for now.

Still no news on gas man who is supposed to come this arvo. It's actually colder in here than outside :(. ETA: gas man just arrived, yay!

i hardly had any bleeding after my section. it was more like spotting than bleeding.

    Well that's not fair!!:p

What's annoying me is *TMI* the bleeding will completely stop for hours then GUSH:o:o:o It's not like a "just stood up after sitting for ages" gush... it just happens:eek: After a quick google I have read that doing too much after section too soon can make the bleeding heavy?? I will admit to maybe doing a bit too much:o I do feel I've recovered really well (especially as it wasn't straightforward section:() and I HATE having to take it easy... so maybe my body is giving me a little reminder!;)

JUMPEROOS so are they worth it??? Just convinced DH that we may just have to get one for Dasiy for that special December day!:D
