How on earth did she break the DS so quickly?! Mine was fine until a certain little boy was allowed to play with it *rolleyes* I'm sure the most expensive part of having kids is replacing and fixing things constantly!

That was the best bit - she said 'It just broke' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It was one of the arms, it was still working, apparently it is a common fault which is why she got it replaced for free.

oh I'm looking at the BB reviews of smart trikes (only because they have a bee and a cow print one) and one of the children mentioned in a review is called Buster. Is it me or does that sound more like a dog's name?

Woohoo, got another interview. Not for 2 weeks though! What's with all these long time scales, argh? Don't they know people need work straight away! Oh well, the way I see it is a couple weeks out of work won't be any worse than being on SMP, so it's okayish for now.

Still no news on gas man who is supposed to come this arvo. It's actually colder in here than outside . ETA: gas man just arrived, yay!

Thanks for thinking of me I'm still going to feed Erin outside of 8-6 when she will be in nursery and I've got it down to just a feed at lunch time before her nap to stop. The nursery are going to try just giving her some milk from a nuby cup I got that she likes. As Sami says hopefully without me there she wont ask for a feed, she's been fine there otherwise. I got rid of the afternoon feed by taking for her a walk and feeding her rice cakes. Going to walk to the nursery now and see if they think she is to ill to go in, her temp is 37.3 so not too high.

Absolutely totally worth it!! We borrowed ours... I was worried it wouldn't be available for this one, but it's coming back to us soon thank goodness! If you were near by I'd lend it you for the interim period we won't be using it lol

I got this for Aimee cheap from Tesco... It's easy enough to do and she enjoyed it... But it's a bit of a faff with the waiting in between etc... She hasn't asked to use it again since the first time...

That's what I was thinking Krystal "a one time wonder". But that can probably be said of most of the stuff he's asked for. Father Christmas will just have to have run out of them.;)

i havent a clue what to get Kian for christmas.

he got a smart trike when he was christened, he has 2 walker/push alongs, 1 ride on (his legs are too little still so its a xmas pressie). a baby laptop, assorted singing books, etc

we have got the wooden blocks & truck already.

am in need of inspiration...

nothing too big as we dont really have the room. although bigger toys could be kept in his room when we're not in.

was thinking an outdoory type thing but not sure. we have a park at the back of the house with some swings,slide but nothing fantastic.

That is not mean, it is sensible! There is tons of years for Christmas to bankrupt you, keep it cheap whilst you can - baby doesn't know any better.

Last year I bought just enough so DSS didn't get suspicious as to why Santa brought so little for Benjamin. But also explained to DSS that babies don't get as much from Santa as big kids.

This year I have spent more, but still lots less than most will spend on their babies. I haven't spent anywhere near the cost of a trike or a jumperoo etc. I can't see the point
