Lidl are where I buy them every year - I guess Aldi prolly has them, too!

Hugs for poorly babies and mamas who need them, too.

Thanks for that Aless - we got some last year from a little independent place, but apparently they only had them for Christmas, as I found when I went back for more. We don't have an Aldi, but we do have a Lidl so I'll try them.

Ive been bleeding lots too, about the same in the weeks after having A. Is this common? It seems to have coincided with A's mega feeding phase so Im guessing its something to do with the BFing making the womb contract. I was crying last night because the stomach pains were that bad; it reminded me very much of the first contractions I had with A. DH is being very good though.
Sorry... all me me me again.

Have you stopped bleeding at all? It might be worth going to the docs to get checked out - I had to have a scan to make sure all my placenta had come out because I bled heavily for a long time...but not for 3 months!!!

If you can work one of your feeds to being 5am then you can both snuggle down for some more sleep once hubby has been packed off to work!

I used to think that mum's who looked a mess needed to get a grip (:o) but then when I had Benjamin I realised that it wasn't that they didn't care how they looked...they had just genuinely forgotten to brush their hair/put some lippy on/change their baby-sicked-on top!!

She did actually have a feed at around 5 this morning:)

Michelle has reminded me to ask about bleeding:o Dasiy is 3 weeks tomorrow and I'm so fed up with the bleeding. How long should I expect it for?? I had a section.

  • Smartie - it is different for different people....average is probably about 6 weeks? I think that it is one of the reasons that they do a 6 week check.

*but I could be talking crap - it has been 18 months after all*

Michelle - if you are worried go and see the doc hun.

  • I was still bleeding off and on 3 months later, but I think a lot of that was down to the coil that I had fitted....

I had a C-section and bled for about 6-7 weeks. Towards the end it was very _pale_ but the doctor said it's normal for it to get a bit unpleasant *shrug*

Lebkuchen come from Christmas markets or from Aldi/Lidl or occasionally from fairies ;)

 Hi Smartie - pleased you had a good night!
Lebkuchen! Thank-you for that, my husband looooooves them and I've desperately been trying to find out what they're called so that I can find somewhere that stocks them!

As aless Said lidl & aldi, Tesco sometimes have it and I found an online german shop that ships here, but it not as good as proper german stuff or expensive to get it sent here from a shop.

My Sis used to have a pen pal that sent us a big box of goodies and Christmas and we sent one to them at Easter they loved English choc so it was a win win situation :D

Forgot to say earlier get well son to the ill ones and Becles I do worry about you burning the candle at both ends! Xx

Playgroup was great, can't believe I only just managed to go back now it's been about 18mths :o a little boy called Cole took a shine to me bless  Edgar did a sparkly picture and is flat out exhausted now.
