Alex had 3 injections today. 2 Boosters and the MMR. No 12 month check here either.

Michelle, I found that weaning didn't help e sleep at all, he is on 3 meals a day and has been for 4 weeks and is just over 6 months old and has only slept through without waking at all once, but every baby is different

Michelle, in my experience, giving a bottle before bedtime did nothing to prolong the sleeping periods between night feeds and I think it's quite a collective experience on this thread that there is no correllation between weaning and sleeping... It's more likely to be the opposite I'm afraid...

What you could do is kick DH out of the bed at 5am so that you get a couple of hours... And definitely take her to bed for mid morning naps and go yourself at the same time...

we're boosters on monday and then will be 2 or 3 weeks for mmr.
we get a card/time to make an appointment card about the week before they are due.

Thanks millions workinmummy, you have really cheered me up! DH has been shopping and bought me some nice steak and green veggies for my tea. Feeling a bit better now, but just got to wait for the morning.

I know this sounds daft but I wouldnt want DH getting up at 5am if he has to work all day. When he comes back he does spend what precious times he has with her. He also does loads of household things- the only thing he doesnt really do is cook.

Thanks for advice on weaning.
