  • Uh oh, that dosen't sound too good...At least there are a fair few of us over on BP to come and back you up should you need to start a thread over there ;)
  • Mine was rejected too - have the points back. I emailed them to find out why and the email bounced. My mobile is strangely no longer verified when it was before, and the link doesn't work when I click to verify it.

    Ditto! How annoying!

CAFC, look at you! That's very speedy work.

Weirdly I just got a book out of the library about making stuff for Christmas. Normally I'm like the grinch - too many years of working in retail. I want to make a bit of effort this year, as it's the first Christmas/ New Years I haven't had to work since I was 16!!!!!

Eta: no probs to your pm!

    Hi

Sorry I dashed off after posting, I had to take full advantage of two sleeping children and grab a nap:)

The party ideas all sound fab, and I have considered a joint party many, many times, but their birthdays are nearly 4wks apart so a bit too far imo to do a joint one. Now, if ds2 had arrived when he was supposed to there would only have been a week between them;)

DS1 wants a Lazer/Quasar party, which they do down at the local bowling place and ds2 want a halloween themed party!! Lazer is easy to sort and only min 6 kids so shouldn't be tooo dear? But how on earth do I do a halloween party. I have been pondering booking tickets for this and letting him take his best mates, but it isn't really a party, is it? Or maybe booking a party at the local indoor play area, but then it isn't halloween themed!! Hmmmmm I really should have sorted this out a while ago:cool:

  • Mel I'm sure you could do something haloween themed at home (and keep it to a minimum of however many you can fit!). They can all dress up, and they're not too old for apple bobbing and things.

Mel, a Halloween party is super simple! Set up tables in your garden, have them turn up in fancy dress/old clothes and have games like apple bobbing, tasting horrible things, putting their hands into covered boxes and trying to see what's in there... and food wise, spaghetti with food colouring in the water and tomato sauce.

Haloween theme at home is realatively easy.
was in home bargains/quality save earlier and they had kids costumes for £3.99 and loads of decorations. Poundland is also great for the decorations and you can get quite a lot for a few pounds.
we did apple bobbing, cherry mountain, conkers etc at the last halloween party we had (all adults) and it was great fun
