    3, well if it's only...:rotfl:

Kitkat, how did first day with little man go? It's kind of exciting and scary at the same time.

Gill, that is very cute. Can't beat mittens, gotta be on strings though!

Ladybird, OH can only spot the 'funny' mushrooms from his youthful days.

KK - If you've got bottles with teats already hun, we've literally today bought the next flow teats for Landen for TT closer to nature bottles. They literally just pop out, and you fit the next one in (from what I've worked out). Do you want our old teats? Theyre anti colic ones....Will give them a cracking wash this end, and then when they turn up, wash and sterilise and I imagine they'd be fine :)

Ebay update - it went for double my max bid LOL so dont feel too bad about it. And of course when we were winning it, DH decides to tell me he doesnt like it and doesnt want a 3 wheeler!

On another note, my DH has been a complete TOAD all day! I'd go as far as to say Im hating him today.....a 4 hour lay in, moans at Landen because he wasnt falling asleep instantly. In the end I told him to go away and I'd settle him, and what happens 5 minutes later sleeping baby. Told him he has no patience whatsoever, and he said "no you're right I dont, you see to him"...

Not got much time, was just reading quick but out in a mo, Susan I would highly recommend PALS, really makes them sit up and listen. Glam helped me write a fantastic letter. XXX

CAFC, give him a kick up the bum! :p I could definately smother OH sometimes when he announces he's 'tired'.

It's a pity you didn't get the pram, even though your hubby decided he didn't like it - you'll be doing most of the pushing.

  • i'm soooooo tired and my legs feel like they're about to fall off, took ds to the park and chased him round like a mad person and feel like my spd is back, think a bath and early night is in order.

susan your letter is very clear and well put, makes me feel fortunate for the excellent treatment i got last year with both my mc's, was the complete opposite thankfully.

i need to carry on ironing and put all my maternity clothes away but really cba, am far too comfy on the sofa with dd having snuggles.
  • I have a problem and I have put off talking about it for ages so please be kind.

I can't keep my baby awake :( by 6.30pm he is hysterically tired and whilst I try my hardest to keep him busy and awake and going until 7pm this often (think practically every night) ends in tears and tantrums.

He sleeps from 7pm straight through to 6.30am at the earliest, quite often until 7am or beyond (it was 8.30am on Sunday). He naps every afternoon (for the CM) for 2-3 hours (or more) :( but I still can't keep him awake.

I keep telling myself it is a phase and I am lucky and it will pass in 6 weeks but it hasn't and it isn't getting any better. I try to pick him up from the CM as early as possible as often as I can but sometimes I simply can't get there until 6pm, which means I only get 30 mins with him before it all goes downhill.

Sorry to whinge on and I am sorry to those who have the opposite problem but has anyone with older ones gone through this who can tell me it is going to get better?

  • 3 - Can't see a problem in you being able to get all that for L. Should be a doddle :o

Just waiting for Joe to get out of the shower. He never wants to get in and then never wants to get out. He doesn't get the concept of a water meter. Going to have to go boot him out, so i can get in, then see if Natasha cracks in Corrie, then Spooks is back on yay.
  • MFD, jack was exactly like that when he first started nursery, used to fall asleep in the car on the way home sometimes and sleep through, think it took about 2 months for him to get used to the different routine and then he went back to a longer nap in the afternoon and i actually got to see him occasionally!!

its horrid when you feel you've not seen them all day but by keeping him awake longer to the point he was overtired i realised this wasn't quality time either so made do with bath and bed pretty much as soon as we got home. Felt horribly guilty and spent the entire weekend just doing everything with him instead, the house was a tip lol.
  • Aw sorry mfd ive no advice but his sleeping pattern sounds identical to jasmines and i know they're close in age, she's always ready for sleep at about half 6 and she has a good nap through the day, im sorry ive no words of wisdom :(
