Hello FB, hope Toby's ok, could he be teething? X
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • thanks everyone for all the advice

she seems to of settled for now, touch wood.......

think i'm just shattered and extra hormonal today, was back in hospital for a few days last week with some sort of infection and also my little boy starts school tomorrow so am an extra emotional wreck lol.

am going to give it my best shot, this is about when i gave up with ds but am a little more determined this time and just want to get through this bit as i'm hoping it will get better sooner rather than later.

you've actually got me in tears just for being nice to me and telling me i'm not a complete failure

    xx

You're definitely not a failure. You are asking for help when you need it, which automatically means you are a fab mummy :T. And with a 4 year old too - no wonder you are nackered. Are you getting away with getting a nap in during the day at weekends at least? Maybe once he is in school you can get a little bit more rest with any luck.

Is he excited to be starting school? I can't remember my first day at school at all.

    hi angela!

    And angelcake, hi!

    :) Hiya Tiamai!! x
  • Hi Tara, it deffo could be teeth as his nose is runny and I see him desperately trying to bite at things so I have put bongela on and given him his teething things to chew on earlier on. But the chesty cough sounds horrible and that wouldn't be related to teething would it? Although having said that, both me and DH feel a bit dodge too so maybe we all just have caught a bug?? I'm gonna find it hard I think deciding if he is well enough for nursery. How are you doing anyhoo?

    Hi Michelle

Day was ok, its got rather windy up here.. :rotfl::rotfl:

We've been viewing houses, as my parents are buying, we're renting from them, till they can move up here in about 8 yrs, and then hopefully we'll know what the hell we are doing....

I'm torn between the two so far, one is bigger but has a poorer garden and kitchen... and second has a shared drive access, but no steps into it, but is smaller.....
    Third one tomorrow....

Can you do the garden up? Ours were awful (think jungle book with lots of cats) but lovely neighbours took over and sorted them both.
    Are you renting or buying?

It used to take me ages as well, it's probably only been the last month that I've managed. Do you have an electric pump? I used a TT manual pump at first which was awful, then I moved onto a medela mini, then I treated myself to a medela swing (£42 on ebay)
    .

Thanks gill, will prob start this week since im off out for one evening  next week for my bday. Is the swing noisy? And will it make me look like I belong on a dairy farm?

Gill, someone with an odd name and a photo of a baby with spoons over its eyes has requested you on FB.

Becky, have you tried a pacifier for while she's sleeping? Comfort sucking is apparently really cool if you're a baby.

3, I am fluffy every day - I never have time for grooming
