Gill I'll PM you the link now :D and anyone else who might want it feel free to ask - and now I'll stop talking about it ;)

I will, but i'm not quite sure I understand yet.

Bruno Hugs for Mrs Bruno - I hope the antibiotics take effect sharpish.

Mel I will reply, but Tuesday pm is good for me. (Wednesday too, but i'll have no baby to keep Kai amused.
I just saw above - Friday is good. And i'll have L with me too to occupy the little ones.

Angelcake I'm just pleased we were all nice to you and didn't ignore you with our paranoid heads on. (BTW: Have you got any juicy gossip about Tara?) :p

Oh no Im not up to speed about the feet situation but lack of NHS care doesn't sound good :( Yes I said to DH tonight that if cough still the same tomorrow then Im gonna ring the doctors. Nursery will be Tuesday and it would be his first full day, so I will keep him home if he's still not better then, but how typical it would be to have to be off for my first day back at work!! :o

I noticed Erin was walking strangly, took her Docs and was sent away to see how it went. When we went for new trainers the guy refused to fit any saying he felt she had a serious issue and recommended I get it checked asap. I paid to go to a Podiatrist who over the phone said she didn't recommend treating children but would see if she could help, she took one look at Erin walking and said it was one of the worst she'd seen. She showed me where her feet should be, and only managed that by putting her hands under Erins arches and holding her feet up. It completely straightened her legs and ankles when she did it, her arches have collasped and her ankles bend inwards. :( She spent 90mins with us and charged me £75 for the appointment and she fitted insoles, normally that would be 3 appointments at least but she was trying to do it as cheaply as possible. (My neighbour paid £300 for hers and they are the same size). Anyhow, this is a lifelong issue, it won't get better, the insoles only fit in trainers, I'm gutted, Erin's upset, and tomorrow I'll face the school as Erin will be in trainers!
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Right I have done as much ironing as I am going to for now .. need an early night as I am back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off and I have a feeling it wil be like a zoo in here in the morning !!

  • Sorry SJ, I didn't realise I was being cryptic... Must have been the lack of sleep lol...

Sugar, I'm sure the length of time between snipping and reversal affects the effectiveness?

Oops forgot I'd quoted that! You weren't cryptic, I'm just a bit slow sometimes :p

Thats brill Gill. We stayed at MILs last night too, usually its whole weekend but weve still not sorted the sleeping arrangements for Ayana as shes just about fitting in her moses basket there. ;):p I DONT NEED ANY IDEAS EITHER, THANKS! :) ( I know it could be fixed v.easily but Ill just play dumb for now until DH figures something out.) I cant believe you can express so much- im really struggling. :( It takes me about a week just to do one feed! :(

I found expressing really hard to begin with but it did get a lot easier. I had a manual pump and couldn't get anything with that so just expressed manually. However in the end I decided that even though it was easier I didn't want to do it any more  So when Alfie stays at my mum's, or the odd occasion DH has Alfie when I'm not there he has a carton of formula. I rarely miss more than 1 feed in a row so I don't worry about it affecting my supply and 1 carton of formula a week isn't hurting anyone!

Had KFC for Dinner (I know such a traditional Sunday Dinner LOL but cba!) and T was watching us longingly so gave her a chip wich she loved, shhh dont tell the healthy eating police.

Alfie had chips and the middle (no skin / coating) of a piece of chicken from KFC last week :p

 Hello to new posters and old posters alike :rotfl:

beckyandjack, that's exactly what BFing was like for me in the first few weeks and I thought about giving up so many times. I thought some awful things actually but I know it was just the tiredness - there's a reason sleep deprivation is used as torture!!!! You really are doing a wonderful job and it really really does get easier :) I agree with whoever it was that suggested aiming for datime naps when DS goes to school:D
