  • Maz - I would take him to Halfords and get his head measured and a helmet fitted if I were you. DSS has a mahoosive head and went into adult helmets aged 7 :D

  • SS - It does sound like a blocked duct, but to be honest, it's a long time since I had one so I think there are probably others on here with more experience than me in these things.

Thanks Arnie, I have to go off to my meeting now and wanted to know what it was before I left so I wasn't sitting there inexplicably clutching a boob :rotfl:

At least now I can explain!

Based on absolutely nothing at all I reckon an ill fitting helmet could be almost as unsafe as no helmet.

Although, nobody had a helmet when I was a kid and there are still a fair few of us around ;)

Still - no point buying him a fancy Thomas (or whatever) one if he can't actually get it on!!!

  • Morning all. Just popping in to say hello. Not been in for a few days - not had as much time, and have been trying to do my exciting 10 bingo posts ;)

It was our anniversary yesterday, so we were out for a meal. I booked today off to be hungover in, but haven't needed it for that. I have had a morning nap though, and we're going off to get some lunch soon, and do some errands. And we have achieved slightly more housework than we would have done on a day we were both working. And a lot more internet/ps3 time too ;)

    How is everyone?

  • Oh - I had a question for those of you with bigger kids too - I'm trying to work out what to get Izzy for Christmas/Birthday. (She will be 2 just after Christmas)... i want to get things from us that we can put asside and get out later in the year, as I'm assuming she will get loads of new stuff at once, so I will put some things away so they can be new again later on. I'm a bit stumped for ideas, as I don't know what she will be into by then. We're going to go have a look in the early learning centre sale later, and probably get a happyland set, but what else? I don't know if a pairs game/dominoes would be too advanced and better for the following year? Or maybe some kind of flash cards? I'm lost, help!
