That sounds very infuriating kindof. From the wording you've used it sounds like his friends partners dictate to them which obviously isn't a great way to work but he should at least be consulting with you rather than just going ahead without a thought as to how things affect you. I wonder if perhaps he doesn't realise how much these things affect you or how much of a problem it is?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Oh yes - what I came here for is because I'm watching Cherry has a baby on iPlayer and she says it's "incredibly rare" to wait until marriage to have sex. Now I know it's not common but surely it's not incredibly rare?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Yes your right susan, his two best friends partners basically tell them what they can and cant do, its ridiculous and stupid imo, I mean yes you dont want your partner doing what they want but at the same time they need their own mind its ridiculous
I feel sorry for OH sometimes cos he has plans to go out with his friend lets call him N and hes all excited (like a little kid) then N rings the morning of said day and says he isnt allowed out its insane
I just think OH doesnt think when it comes to asking me, it drives me flipping crazy

I watched that earlier Susan and was in tears - but yes I agree with you, it's rare but not incredibly. I thought the 22 year old girl who waited, was very sound and seemed like she was really happy within herself and her choices.

Maybe it is incredibly rare for both to wait till marriage?
Just based on B&SIL church, lots of couples have waited with their partner but usually one has had a sexual partner in the past.
But I also think that when they go and get these stats, they do it in colleges or in the town centre on a Saturday night

I thought she used quite a few journalistic phrases to pique interest which weren't necessarily meaning something statistical.
'Incredibly rare' to me felt like one of those? *shrug*

Oh Susan, while you are on. Am I correct in thinking you have lots of info on immunisations?
I'm think about doing my graded unit on them, and would very much like to view them from all angles. Along the lines of 'The argument for and against childhood immunisations'.
Or I've looked at IVF, Cerebral palsy or maybe something completely different.
Wonder if post natal depression is biological enough... *thinking out loud*0 -
Em - Glad Seths hoohoo is okay! Poor wee mite. How is ginge's red eye doing and scruffys scabby chops?
at your OH, must admit I'd be really upset if that was happening to me, more so because things are being ignored or left for him to please himself. Just bite it

I watched Tigs programme at lunchtime, soooo emotional.
Kindof, grrrrrr at OH!
Tia, I don't understand how your managing to study too, wish I had it in me, too lazy.
Waiting until marriage, I would say that it is probably rare for both partners to have done nothing.Too many children, too little time!!!
