  • I'm current sress relief is cuddling a sleeping Katie, worn out by a day at playgroup. I'm also planning a trip to Pizza Hut with lots of ice cream :)

I nearly laughed at the end when they wanted me back to work immediately as they were struggling, I refused as my head was in bits so have taken half a days leave to recover,

MDW How stressful for you - but yey for standing up to them.

I only popped on to remind everyone, Cherry has a baby, 9pm tonight.

Krystal Molly is an epic nightmare. She's been appropriately dosed with Calpol so her fever's down but she is clingy and whingy. All she wants to do is climb up but won't/can't stay still when she's up and is constantly clawing at me and shrieking in my ear. She's a bit calmer for being allowed her dummy outside bed but obviously having a rotten day. And she's bitten my boob and I have a nasty swollen red sore.
    <wishes I didn't ask> ;)

    I'm sure she'll be better tomorrow :)

Wow MDW, good job you have a union! I keep telling D he should join one, his work are a real PITA sometimes...

Caitlyn's discovered farting makes Daddy laugh so she's sitting in the high chair putting real effort in to squeezing them out... She's nappy free though so it could end in disaster!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

MDW, that sounds horrid! Well done on sticking up for yourself though!
  • Krystal the place were I work isn't unionised I just kept up my membership when I left a previous employer so they had a bit of a shock when my rep phoned.

I'm blonde so I think that thought I was dumb, they don't like anyone knowing their rights as it means they can't walk over you.

I foresee another thing you wish you didn't do in your near future :rotfl:

MDW, I probably never would have thought of keeping on union membership - I'm so pleased you did.

My other news is that my brother is a rooster. He's just announced to FB that he bought himself a new Blackberry to replace the six month old one he had before. He used the money I could have spent on starting my course if I hadn't had to pay him back as a matter of urgency. Urgent my tiger striped tushie.

  • Hi everyone
Not been on much to catch up as my dad was taken into hospital hes had an emergency op on Friday and is doing much better but it was touch and go throughout the operation:eek: this whole thing has made me realise that I am totally not prepared for anything that may happen to my parents and cant discuss it with OH as he is quite matter of fact about things like this - sort of well I know it will be hard but everyone dies, I know he dosnt mean it to be nasty its just his way.

Thinking of you and your father PP1 :grouphug:

I'm not prepared for anything happening to my parents either, I was able to manage with the admin stuff when my grandmother died but it was awful, and very simple stuff. Hopefully you won't have to think of it for a long time xxx
