Hope everything is okay Susan ((hugs))

Sami that is the worst thing about nursery IMO. The other kids that like to lift their hands. Keira came home on the last day of term with a huge scratch down her face as some girl attacked her in the toilets.

Now I know nursery is for everyone, but Keira's class now has almost 3/4 of the children being unable to speak english (polish) and one little boy, who can't speak, keeps throwing sand in her face and apparently kept trying to come into a toilet with her? I told her to punch him :rotfl: ONLY KIDDING! But I told her to tell on him, she won't ever hit back, I don't think she has ever hit anyone actually.

But that sounds bad - with a fork  Is it a private nursery?
ooh be careful or she'll come home speaking polish lol
Yeah its a private day nursery but he only goes for the gov funded 15hrs, I just pay for his lunches :)

I am upset for Chris (and Sami) - how totally unacceptable and concerning :/ it's exactly the kind of thing that will happen to our children at some point and you just dread. Hopefully it's been indeed nipped in the bud for now and Chris has a good day.
    ...
He was much quieter today apparently but still enjoyed himself, hopefully all will be forgotten by Weds when he goes back :)
I always knew things like this would happen but I had no idea how upsetting it would be for me:o
Sami, hope Chris has a better day today. Poppy has been bitten once since starting nursery and I was so  and  but it hasn't happened again. Apparently she yelled 'you are a very naughty boy!' to the culprit! :rotfl:

    xx
:rotfl: I was surprised and concerned that he didn't immediately tell on the boy because I would expect him to be like Poppy, today I told him to watch where he was walking (there was some bread on the pavement) this is what happened
    C:mummy those silly idiots!
    Me: Pardon?
C: Those naughty idioTTTTSSS putting bread on the floor *big sigh*
    :rotfl:

Can I ask how much your nursery/school sweatshirts cost?

Chris's nursery have an optional uniform and he's wanting to wear it, i think it would be good to have clothes just for nursery (esp as 90% of his stuff is Next/M&S/expensiveness :o and I want it to do Edgar and possible 3rd child) but the jumper is £6 and I can't help thinking that most of his next stuff was bought in the sale so was £4+ for a jumper. I got him plain red polo shirts in tesco 2pk for £2 as the uniform is polo shirt (but £6) and he's in red group :D maybe I should just get him some tesco/asda jumpers and keep them just for nursery?
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

L's are £7.50 and J's are £9.50 (small adult size).
But for Joe, I could buy plain Asda/Tesco ones and get them embroidered for £3.50. The embroidery place isn't allowed to copy L's ones.

When L was at nursery, when they got to the pre-school room they were give a free t-shirt and sweatshirt.

SM - Manchester is a good hours drive from Stoke? Seems very out of your way. Can you get a train to Stoke or Crewe?
